No. 6 Alma at No. 8 Siloam Springs
Siloam Springs beat Alma last year for the first time in seven seasons, and just the second time since 1989. Alma won the last meeting in Siloam Springs 27-14 in 2011.
Alma's won three straight games, and the Airedales are healthy. Senior running back Landon Brigance leads Alma with 41 carries for 291 yards and three touchdowns. Junior quarterback Noah Dotson has generated 958 total yards and seven TDs. Junior linebacker Jaedon Mitchel paces the Airedales with 49 tackles.
Meanwhile, Siloam Springs enters October banged up after last week's 38-24 loss at Conway. Four starters are questionable this Friday. The Panthers gave up 437 total yards (6.3 yards per carry) last week at Conway. Senior RB Ricky Hughes, senior QB Jordan Norberg and senior receiver Coby Roach fuel Siloam's Spread attack. All-state senior lineman Aric Sislo (6-2, 240) anchors both lines at tackle.

GREENWOOD (21) at Russellville: Russellville has lost 15 of its past 17 league games. Greenwood has defeated Russellville the past three years by an average of 37 points.
7A/6A EAST
Marion at CABOT (21): Marion fell to West Memphis 34-21 last week, its first loss of the year. Cabot cruised past North LR 34-3. The undefeated Panthers outscore their opponents by 24 ppg.
LR Central at JONESBORO (3): Central beat Searcy 24-14 last week. Seniors Richard Hayes and Cavan Polite combined for 289 yards on 50 carries. Hayes ran for three TDs. Jonesboro has beat Central the past three seasons by an average of 11 points. The Hurricane gave up 519 total yards in last week's 83-41 win over Mountain Home. NORTH LR (8) at Mountain Home: North LR should have enough to get past Mountain Home. The Bombers were outgained 778-519 in last week's 83-41 loss at Jonesboro.
West Memphis at SEARCY (1): West Memphis off to its best start in three years. Searcy scored twice in the fourth quarter during last week's 24-14 loss at LR Central. 6A SOUTH
BENTON (35) at LR Hall: Benton rallied last week to beat LR Parkview 30-17, scoring 17 unanswered points in the fourth quarter. Hall fought hard in a 29-0 loss at El Dorado.
EL DORADO (14) at Sheridan: El Dorado has shut out Magnolia 35-0 and LR Hall 29-0 the past two weeks. Five of El Dorado's top five tacklers are seniors, including all-state safety Rhett Conner (4.4 speed). Senior end Noah Pierce (6-0, 205; 4.6 speed) and junior tackle Lake Tucker (6-4, 260) spearhead the front four. Sheridan senior FB Brockton Brown (4.5 speed) ran 31 times for 274 yards and three TDs in last week's 35-28 win at Lake Hamilton. Senior guard and A-State commit Jacob Atnip (6-5, 300) anchors the line.
Lake Hamilton at TEXARKANA (1): Both teams searching for their first win. Lake Hamilton has won five in a row over Texarkana. The Wolves lost at home to Sheridan 35-28 last week for the first time in 25 years. Texarkana gave up 500 yards in a 40-0 loss at Pine Bluff. PINE BLUFF (21) at LR Parkview: Pine Bluff dominated Texarkana 40-0 last week, holding the Razorbacks to 95 total yards. Senior TB Romar Reades ran 13 times for 169 yards and three TDs.
