No. 5 Watson Chapel at No. 12 Monticello

This could decide the conference title. Defending league champion Watson Chapel's three wins are over teams with a combined record of 1-14 this season. "Without a doubt, they are the team to beat in our conference," said coach Greg Tiner. "They are so athletic, have good size and a lot of team speed. They are good at playing their schemes and from an athletic standpoint can create problems."

Monticello banks on a defense that yields 12 points a game. Senior linebacker Troy Brunson, a three-year starter, "is our leader," Tiner said. Senior end Cameron Smith and senior interior lineman Jordan Smith played well the past month and are crucial to slowing Watson Chapel's Wishbone.

Watson Chapel's defense makes plays. The Wildcats returned two interceptions for TDs in last week's 26-point win over North Pulaski. Junior running back James Collier has rushed for five TDs the past two weeks. "We've gotten by with mistakes so far this year," Tiner said. "If we do that against Watson Chapel, it'll get ugly in hurry."

5A EAST
Greene Co. Tech at BLYTHEVILLE (3): Greene County Tech totaled 496 yards and the Eagles were tied with Wynne at halftime last week before losing by seven points. Blytheville QB Langston Jenkins threw a 17-yard TD pass and ran for a score in last week's 20-point win over Nettleton.
BATESVILLE (17) at Forrest City: Batesville has won consecutive conference games by a combined 63 points. Junior running back Emphrea Childress has scored four TDs in those games. Forrest City trailed Beebe 12-6 in the second quarter last week before losing by 13 points.
Paragould at NETTLETON (1): Both teams still searching for their first conference win. Nettleton hasn't won a conference game since Week 7, 2008. Paragould gives up 46 points a game.
Beebe at WYNNE (6): Wynne gained 605 yards in last week's seven-point victory at Greene County Tech. Junior receiver Josh Selvy had 224 yards receiving and rushed for 198 yards against the Eagles. Beebe has won four straight since losing to No. 3 Greenbrier in the opener.

5A SOUTHEAST
Mills at WEST HELENA (6): West Helena has won four of its past six games, dating back to last season. The Cougars threw a pair of interceptions in last week's 28-21 loss at Monticello. Mills committed four turnovers and failed on a two-point conversion attempt in last week's 7-6 loss at Sylvan Hills.
WATSON CHAPEL (7) at Monticello: Hootens.com Class 5A Game of the Week.
WHITE HALL (17) at North Pulaski: White Hall has beaten the Falcons by an average of 32-12 over the past three years. White Hall has won consecutive games over Crossett and Sylvan Hills by a combined 52 points. North Pulaski two-time all-league QB Shyheim Barron accounted for both TDs at Watson Chapel last week.
Crossett at SYLVAN HILLS (8): Sylvan Hills survived Mills by a point last week, holding the Comet offense under 200 yards. Junior Jaleel Henson, the only eligible, healthy running back last week, ran for 108 yards. Crossett has lost 15 straight games.

5A SOUTHWEST
ARKADELPHIA (3) at Hope: Three weeks ago, both were winless. Now, the winner likely earns a playoff spot. Hope has beaten LR Christian and Hot Springs by a combined 14 points the past two weeks, while Arkadelphia has beaten the same two opponents by a total of 34 points.
Magnolia at CAMDEN FAIRVIEW (24): It's homecoming in Camden, but rival Magnolia has beaten the Cardinals three of the past six years by a combined eight points. Camden Fairview senior QB Austin Booth has passed for 731 yards and six TDs this fall, while senior receiver Dominique Reed has caught 19 passes for 409 yards and six scores.
HS LAKESIDE (3) at CAC: Hot Springs Lakeside's 13-0 win at Magnolia was its first in Columbia County in more than a decade, and the Rams did it without college prospect receiver/running back Ajalen Holley. The Rams forced two interceptions and kicked a pair of field goals against Magnolia. CAC trailed Camden Fairview 35-7 at halftime last week.
LR CHRISTIAN (6) at Hot Springs: Little Rock Christian committed six turnovers and lost by 13 points to Arkadelphia last week. Hot Springs committed four turnovers but took Hope to overtime before losing 17-10.

5A WEST
Morrilton at GREENBRIER (8): Greenbrier has beaten Morrilton three of the past four years. The undefeated Panthers average 47 points a game. Senior QB Neal Burcham has passed for 1,466 yards and 19 TDs this fall. Morrilton trailed Greenwood 20-10 in the fourth quarter last week before losing by 24 points.
ALMA (10) at Harrison: Alma has beaten Harrison eight of the past 11 years, including a combined 106-24 over the past three seasons. Airedale senior QB Brady Bradley passed for 201 yards and two scores in last week's 14-point win at Vilonia. Harrison hasn't won since beating Sheridan in the opener, but the Goblins get better each week. They trailed Siloam Springs 17-13 in the fourth quarter last week before losing by 11 points.
GREENWOOD (35) at Huntsville: Huntsville trailed Greenbrier 40-0 at halftime last week. Greenwood applies the 35-point sportsmanship rule for the fifth time this season.
Siloam Springs at VILONIA (2): Vilonia rushed 46 times for 201 yards and kicked two field goals against Alma last week. Siloam Springs gained just 235 yards against Harrison, but won 24-13.
