No. 6 Conway at No. 7 Little Rock Central

Conway has outscored LR Central 116-31 the past three seasons, but the Tigers are much improved under second-year coach Scooter Register. Both teams have lost to FS Southside. Conway led FS Southside in its opener but lost 32-27 and the following week FS Southside beat LR Central 39-32. Conway rallied to beat Jonesboro 49-35 Week 2 and North LR 20-17 last Friday. Central outscores its opponents by an average of 30-18.

TV SHOW

WEEK 6 PREDICTIONS (favored team in ALL CAPS followed by point spread)
7A/6A CENTRAL
Conway at LR CENTRAL (1): Game of the Week.
Cabot at NORTH LR (8): More talented North LR looks to avenge last year's controversial 14-7 overtime loss at Cabot. Young Cabot hasn't won in more than a month.

LR CATHOLIC (7) at Van Buren: LR Catholic surpassed last year's win total with its 28-6 decision over Cabot last week. Van Buren lost 20 points last week to Bryant, which beat Catholic in the fourth quarter a week earlier.

Russellville at BRYANT (3): This match-up was decided by an average of five points from 2007-09 before Bryant blew out the Cyclones 38-7 last season. Russellville, improving weekly, has taken more talented North LR and LR Central to the wire the past two Fridays.

7A WEST
FAYETTEVILLE (7) at FS Northside: Purple Dogs have whipped Northside by 20 points each of the past two seasons. Fayetteville junior QB Austin Allen passed for more than 300 yards last week, hooking up with seven different receivers. Northside QB Kenric Burns passed for more than 400 yards last Friday.

FS SOUTHSIDE (25) at Springdale: FS Southside resets it goals for a No. 2 playoff seed and deep postseason run after getting blasted by Bentonville 38-0 last week. Springdale is 0-5 for the first time since 1957, when the Bulldogs finished 2-8 and before legendary Springdale Coach Jarrell Williams played for the Arkansas Razorbacks.

SPRINGDALE HAR-BER (7) at Rogers: Har-Ber outscored Northside 59-45 last week while Rogers ended a 20-game conference losing streak with a 26-13 win over Rogers Heritage. Rogers lost to Heritage by 42 points in 2010.

Rogers Heritage at BENTONVILLE (38): Rogers ran all over cross-town rival Heritage last week. Bentonville, the clear favorite in Class 7A, runs and passes a lot better than Rogers.

7A/6A EAST
Searcy at WEST MEMPHIS (14): West Memphis has earned its No. 2 ranking and likely finishes 10-0 but a lack of quality competition in the East conference has kept the Blue Devils from a Top 2 finish since 2005.

LR Hall at JACKSONVILLE (8): Hall surrenders a league-high 37 ppg. Jacksonville lost to Jonesboro 34-22 last week after leading 22-21 with less than eight minutes left in the game. Junior QB Kevin Richardson threw an 80-yard TD pass to junior receiver Brandon Brockman and 55- and 62-yarders to senior receiver D'Vone McClure.
