No. 8 Earle at No. 5 Rivercrest
Rivercrest has beaten Earle by a combined 14 points over the past two seasons, including 49-40 a year ago. Senior quarterback/free safety Robert Cooney blocked a punt that was returned for a touchdown and caught a 36-yard TD pass with 2:16 left to seal the win. Cooney has generated 810 yards (232 passing, 578 rushing) and 12 TDs this season. Senior playmaker Ty Baber has 521 all-purpose yards and two scores. Senior linebacker Dustin Manuel paces the Colts with 66 tackles.

Earle leads Class 3A in scoring this fall, averaging 50 points per game. The Bulldogs have won 10 of their past 11 games since losing to Rivercrest last year. Junior running back Autry Allen, who ran for 97 yards and three TDs in that game, has rushed for more than 1,300 yards and 20 TDs this season. Senior fullback Alrico Knighten ran 15 times for 183 yards and three scores in last week's 40-14 win over Hoxie. Comparing scores: Earle beat Osceola 44-26 a week after Rivercrest defeated the Seminoles 34-6.

YELLVILLE-SUMMIT (2) at Elkins: Yellville-Summit has won three of its past four games by an average of 36 points. Elkins senior QB Mackenzie Leichner has passed for 832 yards and nine TDs in four games this year, including a 460-yard, five-TD performance in last week's 31-28 win at Lincoln. The Elks beat Yellville-Summit 35-12 last year.
WEST FORK (29) at Green Forest: West Fork has won its first three league games by a combined 89-26. Green Forest averages a league-low 15 ppg.
Mountain View at GREENLAND (27): Mountain View loses its third straight game but can still make the playoffs. Greenland beat Green Forest 41-0 last week and shut out Marshall by the same margin three weeks ago.
LINCOLN (19) at Marshall: Lincoln lost to Elkins 31-28 last week. The Wolves beat Marshall 55-39 a year ago. Marshall allows a league-high 34 ppg.

2-3A
ARKANSAS BAPTIST (28) at Brinkley: Freshman QB Riley Perkins completed six of eight passes for 268 yards and five TDs in last week's 49-6 win over Episcopal. The Eagles beat Brinkley 42-0 a year ago.
Rose Bud at BARTON (27): Rose Bud sophomore QB Christian Reynolds threw a 25-yard TD pass and ran 5 yards for a score in last week's 42-12 loss to Mayflower. Barton sophomore QB Laquarius Hall threw a 55-yard TD pass and ran 8 yards for a score in a 31-12 loss at Harding Academy.
HARDING ACADEMY (21) at Mayflower: Harding Academy has won its first three league games by a combined 111-33. Mayflower allows 33 ppg.
Episcopal at RIVERVIEW (13): Episcopal averages a league-low eight ppg. Riverview junior QB Cole Butler has generated 953 yards (709 passing, 244 rushing) and nine TDs this season.

3-3A
Piggott at BALD KNOB (28): Bald Knob junior QB Cordell Crisp has completed 150 of 265 passes for 2,277 yards and 26 TDs this year. The Bulldogs beat Piggott 63-28 last fall.
HARRISBURG (8) at Corning: Harrisburg senior QB Jordan Harper accounted for 201 yards and four TDs in last week's 34-20 win over Piggott. Corning has scored 19 more points per game than it did a year ago.

HOXIE (27) at Manila: Hoxie beat Manila 46-12 in 2010 before losing its last four games. Manila averages a league-low 10 ppg.

Mansfield at ATKINS (7): Mansfield junior RB Timmy Snider has rushed for 272 yards and six TDs over the past two weeks. Atkins gave up a season-high 48 points in last week's 20-point loss at Charleston.
PARIS (41) at Cedarville: Paris senior RB Mason Koenigseder has 86 carries for 824 yards (9.6 yards per carry) and 11 TDs this year. The Eagles lead the league in scoring offense (39 ppg) and defense (six ppg). Cedarville has lost 11 of its past 12 games dating back to last season.
CHARLESTON (20) at Lamar: Charleston senior QB Dustin Shelby generated 356 yards and four TDs with a strained oblique muscle in last week's 48-28 win over Atkins. Lamar has beaten Lavaca (0-6) and Cedarville (0-6) this season by a combined 15 points.
PERRYVILLE (2) at Lavaca: Perryville has scored 63 points over the past two weeks (38 in its first four games). The Mustangs pushed defending league champion Mansfield last week (lost 35-28). Sophomore RB Christian Gossett ran 18 times for 121 yards and two TDs. Lavaca allows a league-high 38 ppg. The Golden Arrows beat Perryville 21-12 in 2010.

B. Harmony Grove at CENTERPOINT (2): Harmony Grove senior tight end Aaron Jackson caught a 7-yard TD pass in last week's 37-10 loss to Jessieville. Centerpoint senior wingback Dillon Shaw returned a kickoff 86 yards for a TD in a 64-7 loss at Prescott.
BISMARCK (27) at Cutter M. Star: Bismarck allows a league-high 42 ppg. Cutter Morning Star averages a league-low 12 ppg.
FOUNTAIN LAKE (1) at Glen Rose: Fountain Lake has lost two games this year to Class 3A opponents (Harding Academy and Prescott) by a combined six points. Glen Rose has won its first three league games by a combined 120-0.
PRESCOTT (36) at Jessieville: Prescott senior RB Daniel McCoy has 100 carries for 887 yards (8.9 ypc) and 12 TDs this season. Jessieville senior RB Kalin Glover ran for 102 yards, including 51 for a TD, in last week's 37-10 win at Benton Harmony Grove.

C. HARMONY GROVE (13) at Lafayette County: Harmony Grove has beaten Genoa Central and Fouke by a combined 87-0 since losing to Rison Week 4. Lafayette County threw four interceptions in last week's 63-6 loss at Fordyce.
GENOA CENTRAL (2) at Drew Central: Genoa Central has lost its first three league games by a combined 124-0. Drew Central loses its 10th straight game dating back to last season. The Pirates give up a league-high 51 ppg.
FORDYCE (13) at Smackover: Fordyce senior playmaker Thaxton Tolbert gains 10.8 yards per play and has intercepted three passes this season. Smackover senior RB Deonta Baker (105 carries for 858 yards and 12 TDs) caught two TD passes and returned a punt 95 yards for a score in last week's 39-0 win at Drew Central.
RISON (42) at Fouke: Rison senior RB/S Jerry Marshall (more than 700 yards rushing this fall) has returned an interception for a TD in each of the past two games. The Wildcats have won their first three league games by a combined 133-7.
