Mountain Home running back scores FCB Scholar Athlete award
LITTLE ROCK
- Mountain Home's bullish running back Gage Hershberger is the First Community Bank Scholar Athlete of the Week.
Hershberger (5-11, 195) accounts for 105 yards weekly for the resurgent Bombers (3-4).
More
than 6,000 boys play high school football in the state. Hershberger (4.1 GPA, 29 ACT)
is one of only 13 selected for the prestigious award presented by First
Community.
Bank
representative David Daniel and Steve Dunn surprised Hershberger before a
recent Mountain Home practice with the announcement. Earlier this season, First Community presented the
award to standout students at West Memphis, Batesville, Pocahontas, Vilonia, Rivercrest, Harding
Academy (Searcy), Valley View and Cabot.
First Community Bank is a locally owned and operated bank with 27 locations in Arkansas and Missouri.
