HOOTENS.COM GAME OF THE WEEK
No. 7 Fordyce at No. 6 Camden Harmony Grove
Fordyce, which controls its own destiny, has outscored its 6-3A opponents by a combined 242-21. The Redbugs feature several playmakers on offense, including senior running back Dexter Walker who leads with 1,006 yards and 18 touchdowns. Seniors Darius Matthews and Jeffrey Highsmith have rushed for a combined 849 yards. Senior right guard/defensive tackle and three-year starter Jerron Rayford (5-10, 260) paces Fordyce with 75 tackles. Senior Litrell Jones and sophomore Austin Nutt have each recorded 55 stops at linebacker. "They're very physical," said Harmony Grove coach Tony Chambers, "and the team with the fewest mistakes should come out on top."

Harmony Grove must win to keep its hopes alive for a conference title. The Hornets lost to Rison 33-22 in Week 4. Harmony Grove senior playmaker Ticorian Berry has rushed for more than 850 yards, returned two punts for TDs and forced four turnovers this season. Senior defensive end James Sherman (6-3, 295; 4.9 speed) paces the Hornets with more than 50 tackles. "They just push people around (on both lines)," said Fordyce coach Tim Rodgers. "We've got to stay low and keep our feet moving." Harmony Grove senior LB Kyle Hargis and senior cornerback Seth McCann are nursing injuries and will not practice this week, but are probable for Friday night.

Hooten's Arkansas Football TV show will feature highlights of the game at 11 a.m. Saturday on Fox 16.
