No. 15 Hoxie at No. 7 Rivercrest
The winner grabs the 3-3A's No. 2 playoff seed, while the loser finishes as the No. 3 seed. This game showcases two of the finer quarterbacks in the state. Both teams have lost once in Class 3A competition this fall to the same team (Earle).
Hoxie senior QB Sebastian Irvin ran for 219 yards and four touchdowns in last week's 41-28 win over Bald Knob. Irvin has generated more than 1,300 yards and 21 TDs this year. Senior playmaker Devin Roberts has scored 14 TDs. The Mustangs average 38 points per game. "We're excited about this opportunity to play for one of the top spots in the conference," Hoxie coach Tom Sears says. "It's been a few years since we've been able to do that."
Rivercrest senior QB Robert Cooney has accounted for 1,603 all-purpose yards (1,012 rushing) and 20 TDs this season. Cooney ran for 313 yards (school-record for a QB) and three TDs two weeks ago in a 34-19 win at Bald Knob. Senior linebacker Dustin Manuel paces the Colts this fall with 93 tackles. The Colts allow 12 ppg. "They're always hard to handle," Sears says. "They have a lot of tradition and expect to win."

ELKINS (17) at Green Forest: Elkins senior QB Mackenzie Leichner has passed for more than 1,100 yards and 13 TDs this year. The Elks need to win and get some help to make the playoffs (Marshall must beat Mountain View). Green Forest sophomore QB Treyton Anderson has accounted for 804 yards and six TDs. Senior RB Brian Badley has 716 yards and eight scores.
GREENLAND (2) at Yellville-Summit: Greenland junior QB Darian Froud threw two TD passes and ran for two scores in last week's 35-31 win over Lincoln. The Pirates outscored the Wolves 21-7 in the second half. Yellville-Summit could grab the No. 2 playoff seed with a win but likely travels to Smackover in the first round as the No. 4 seed.
WEST FORK (6) at Lincoln: West Fork senior RB Wil Jarnagan ran for two TDs and caught a 15-yard TD pass in last week's 35-22 win over Elkins. Lincoln junior QB Cheyenne Vaughn threw a 27-yard TD pass and ran for two scores in a 35-31 loss at Greenland. The Wolves likely play host to Riverview in the first round as the No. 3 seed.
MOUNTAIN VIEW (18) at Marshall: Mountain View earns its first playoff berth since 2004. The Yellowjackets travel to No. 5 Harding Academy in the first round. Marshall allows a league-high 37 ppg.

2-3A
Riverview at ARKANSAS BAPTIST (28) (Thurs.): Riverview finishes as the No. 4 playoff seed and likely travels to Lincoln in the first round. Arkansas Baptist junior WR/LB Dakota Newkirk has caught 32 passes for 599 yards and nine TDs this year, while recording 49 tackles and three sacks.
BARTON (20) at Brinkley (Thurs.): Barton sophomore QB/DB Laquarius Hall threw a 45-yard TD pass, ran 3 yards for a score and returned an interception 70 yards for a TD in last week's 27-14 win over Riverview. After a 3-1 start, Brinkley ends its season with a six-game losing streak.
HARDING ACADEMY (36) at Rose Bud (Thurs.): Harding Academy senior RB David Brooker has 43 carries for 249 yards and six TDs over the past five games. Rose Bud sophomore RB Cole Robertson ran 33 times for 373 yards and five TDs in last week's 60-38 win over Episcopal.
MAYFLOWER (13) at Episcopal: Mayflower finishes as the No. 4 playoff seed and must travel to No. 10 West Fork in the first round. Episcopal averages a league-low 15 ppg.

3-3A
BALD KNOB (13) at Harrisburg (Thurs.): The winner grabs the No. 4 playoff seed and travels to No. 11 Camden Harmony Grove in the first round. The loser likely heads to No. 6 Fountain Lake as the No. 5 seed. Both teams have lost to Rivercrest and Hoxie over the past two weeks (Bald Knob by a combined 33 points; Harrisburg by a combined 75).
Piggott at CORNING (10) (Thurs.): Piggott beat Manila 30-22 two weeks ago for its only win this season. Corning snapped a seven-game losing streak with last week's 43-0 win at Manila.

Manila at EARLE (52): Manila averages a league-low 13 ppg. Earle junior RB Autry Allen ran for three TDs and returned an interception 40 yards for a score in last week's 51-8 win at Piggott. Allen has rushed for more than 1,800 yards and 30 TDs this season.

4-3A
Perryville at ATKINS (21): Perryville has scored 31 points over the past three weeks since losing to Mansfield 35-28. Atkins has lost three of its past four games but should finish as the No. 3 playoff seed. The Red Devils likely play host to Jessieville in the first round.
Cedarville at LAVACA (13): Cedarville has lost all of its games by an average of 25 points. Lavaca lost at Mansfield 21-14 last week.
Mansfield at CHARLESTON (21): Mansfield has won four league games by an average of 14 points. Charleston wins its fourth league title since 2007 and enjoys home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Senior QB and Farm Bureau Awards watch list player Dustin Shelby has completed 85 of 141 passes (60 percent) for 1,599 yards and 14 TDs with three interceptions this fall. Shelby has 121 carries for 667 yards and 12 scores.
Lamar at PARIS (28): Lamar held on to beat Atkins by one point last week after leading 28-21 at halftime. The Warriors blocked an extra point in the fourth quarter to preserve the lead before Atkins missed a field goal with 26 seconds left. Paris senior RB and Farm Bureau Awards watch list player Mason Koenigseder has 122 carries for 1,258 yards (10.3 ypc) and 18 TDs this fall.

5-3A
Cutter M. Star at B. HARMONY GROVE (8) (Thurs.): Cutter Morning Star has lost all its league games by an average of 34 points. Harmony Grove finishes 4-6 in its second year of varsity football.
Centerpoint at BISMARCK (6) (Thurs.): Centerpoint has won two games this year by a combined nine points. Bismarck beat the Knights 27-14 a year ago. The Lions must travel to No. 1 Rison in the first round as the No. 5 playoff seed.
FOUNTAIN LAKE (14) at Jessieville (Thurs.): Fountain Lake finishes as the No. 2 playoff seed and likely plays host to Harrisburg in the first round. Jessieville senior QB Dalton Oates generated 152 yards and two TDs in last week's 48-20 win at Centerpoint.
PRESCOTT (14) at Glen Rose: Prescott senior RB and Farm Bureau Awards watch list player Daniel McCoy has 146 carries for 1,478 yards (10.1 ypc) and 28 TDs this year. McCoy, Prescott's all-time leading scorer, needs 127 yards to break the school's single-season rushing record. Glen Rose junior QB Collin Hunter has accounted for 26 TDs (17 passing, nine rushing) this fall.

6-3A
Drew Central at C. HARMONY GROVE (35) (Thurs.): Drew Central ends its season with a 13-game losing streak. Harmony Grove wins its fifth in a row to grab the No. 2 playoff seed. The Hornets held on to beat Fordyce 28-26 last week after leading 28-6 in the third quarter.
SMACKOVER (28) at Genoa Central (Thurs.): Smackover finishes as the No. 3 playoff seed and likely plays host to Yellville-Summit in the first round. Genoa Central finishes 2-8 in its second year of varsity football.
LAFAYETTE COUNTY (2) at Fouke (Thurs.): The winner finishes as the No. 5 playoff seed and must travel to No. 8 Arkansas Baptist in the first round. Both teams have beaten Genoa Central and Drew Central by more than three TDs.
Fordyce at RISON (14): Fordyce scored 20 unanswered points in the second half during last week's 28-26 loss to Camden Harmony Grove. The Redbugs failed to convert a two-point conversion with 34 seconds left that would have likely forced overtime. Rison senior RB/LB A.J. Smith ran for two TDs and returned a fumble 20 yards for a score in a 54-6 win at Smackover.
