No. 13 Glen Rose at No. 12 Rivercrest
Glen Rose has advanced past the first round of the playoffs five straight seasons, going 10-4 in postseason play during that stretch. The young Beavers led at halftime in two of their three losses this year, including last week's 13-point setback to Prescott. Junior quarterback Collin Hunter has generated 2,057 yards (1,652 passing, 405 rushing) and 27 touchdowns this year. Sophomore running back Clay Holicer has 664 yards and seven TDs, while junior Dillon Coney has 446 yards and seven scores. Sophomore receiver Kyle Petersen paces the Beavers with 554 yards and six TDs. Senior linebacker Brandon Kettell leads the team with almost 100 tackles. "I watched them play Friday night," Rivercrest coach Kelly Chandler says. "They went toe-to-toe with Prescott. They're a good ball club and are well-coached."
Rivercrest has won three in a row since losing to Earle by 20 points. The Colts beat Hoxie 23-21 last week after trailing 21-10 in the fourth quarter. Junior QB Phillip Porter threw two TD passes to senior receiver Tay Baber, including the game-winner with three seconds left. Senior QB Robert Cooney left the game late in the second quarter with an ankle injury. Cooney (1,579 yards and 19 TDs in 2011) is listed as day-to-day. Senior receiver Dalton Taylor averages 18.2 yards per catch. Senior playmaker Ty Baber has 743 all-purpose yards and five TDs. Senior linebacker Dustin Manuel paces the Colts with 104 tackles and four sacks. "They're not real big up front but are extremely fast on the edges," Glen Rose coach Mark Kehner says. "They've got three or four skill kids who, obviously, we can't catch if we make a mistake."

Lincoln at SMACKOVER (6): Lincoln (0-1 playoff record) eyes its first postseason win in school history. Junior QB Cheyenne Vaughn has completed 147 of 228 passes (65 percent) for 1,996 yards and 17 TDs this season. Sophomore RB Tyler Cummings has 184 carries for 1,348 yards (7.3 yards per carry) and 15 TDs. Smackover senior RB Deonta Baker has rushed for more than 1,200 yards. Baker threw a 24-yard TD pass in a 54-6 loss to Rison two weeks ago.
Lamar at PRESCOTT (21): Lamar QB Jordan Haas threw a 60-yard TD pass and ran 55 yards for a score in last week's 49-14 loss at Paris. Prescott senior RB and Farm Bureau Awards watch list player Daniel McCoy has 178 carries for 1,667 yards (9.4 ypc) and 29 TDs this year. Senior QB Jesse Glass has completed 112 of 171 passes (66 percent) for 2,051 yards and 17 TDs. Senior linebacker Tony Hayes paces the Curley Wolves with 66 tackles.
Jessieville at ATKINS (1): Jessieville won its first-round playoff game a year ago in a 28-20 triumph at Paris. Senior FB Michael Mendez ran for 150 yards and two TDs. Atkins junior QB Ty Ennis completed 15 of 17 passes for 328 yards and four TDs in the first half during last week's 53-12 win over Perryville.
Mayflower at WEST FORK (7): Mayflower has lost three of its past four games. West Fork senior RB and Farm Bureau Awards watch list player Wil Jarnagan has rushed for 1,359 yards and 22 TDs this season. Senior DL Chris Worley has recorded 10.5 sacks.
Barton at PARIS (14): Barton has won four in a row. The Bears have won 75 percent of their playoff games. Junior FB Corey Anderson ran for two TDs in last week's 37-8 win at Brinkley. Paris senior RB and Farm Bureau Awards watch list player Mason Koenigseder ran 29 times for a school-record 326 yards and four TDs in a 49-14 win over Lamar. Koenigseder has 151 carries for 1,584 yards (10.5 ypc) and 22 TDs this year.
Bald Knob at C. HARMONY GROVE (1): Bald Knob junior QB Cordell Crisp has passed for more than 3,200 yards and 39 TDs this year. Harmony Grove gave up 203 yards passing in a 28-26 win over Fordyce two weeks ago.
Fouke at ARKANSAS BAPTIST (28): Fouke (0-6 playoff record) won its final three games this season to make the playoffs for the first time since 2008. Arkansas Baptist freshman QB Riley Perkins has completed 67 of 107 passes (63 percent) for 1,083 yards and 14 TDs with 10 interceptions this year. Senior receiver Ryan Perkins has 66 catches for 1,024 yards and six TDs. Junior LB Dakota Newkirk paces the Eagles with 73 tackles and five sacks.

FORDYCE (4) at Hoxie: Fordyce junior QB Cole Johnson has completed 122 of 198 passes (62 percent) for 1,957 yards and 23 TDs this season. Three players have more than 20 catches, including senior Markell Bulliner (19.4 yards per catch). Hoxie senior QB Sebastian Irvin has generated more than 1,400 yards (1,049 rushing) and 21 TDs. Senior receiver/safety Tyler Hall returned an interception 68 yards for a score and threw a TD pass to senior playmaker Devin Roberts in last week's 23-21 loss at Rivercrest. The Mustangs led Rivercrest 21-10 with 6:44 left in the fourth quarter. Roberts has 118 carries for 771 yards and 13 TDs this fall.
Mountain View at HARDING ACADEMY (28): Mountain View senior RB Caleb Robbins ran for two TDs in last week's 37-7 win at Marshall. The Yellowjackets are 0-7 in postseason play. Harding Academy junior QB Will Francis has completed 215 of 335 passes (64 percent) for 2,743 yards and 31 TDs this fall. Four players have more than 30 catches, including senior Tucker Lloyd (39 catches, 530 yards, eight TDs) and sophomore Trey Davis (39 catches, 479 yards, four TDs).
Riverview at GREENLAND (1): Riverview junior QB Cole Butler has generated 1,548 yards (1,171 passing, 377 rushing) and 14 TDs this fall. Junior RB McKenzie Jones has rushed for 619 yards and six scores. Greenland has lost two games this year by a combined 10 points. The Pirates gave up two fourth-quarter scores in last week's 22-18 loss at Yellville-Summit.
Bismarck at RISON (28): Bismarck has not won a playoff game since 1994. Rison has lost two games this year by a combined nine points, including last week's 35-28 setback to Fordyce.

MANSFIELD (1) at Yellville-Summit: Mansfield junior RB Timmy Snider has rushed for more than 900 yards this season. Senior end Jacob Jetton paces the Tigers with more than 60 tackles. Yellville-Summit scored twice in the fourth quarter during last week's 22-18 win over Greenland. Sophomore QB Caleb Gilley threw a 30-yard TD pass to junior Terrence Taylor with 1:04 left for the win.
Harrisburg at FOUNTAIN LAKE (16): Harrisburg has given up more than 60 points in three games this year, including last week's 87-52 loss to Bald Knob. Fountain Lake senior QB Michael Pope has completed 79 of 130 passes (61 percent) for 1,760 yards and 19 TDs this fall. Junior FB Mackenzie Ross has 140 carries for 930 yards and 14 TDs. Junior receiver Jordan Stone has 37 catches for 1,044 yards (28. 2 yards per catch) and 15 scores. Senior linebacker Derek Helms paces the Cobras with 89 tackles.
