HOOTENS.COM GAME OF THE WEEK
No. 9 Searcy at No. 6 Texarkana
Searcy has not won a playoff game since it beat Batesville 41-21 in 2001. Junior dual-threat quarterback Dezmond Stegall directs Searcy's Spread attack, which has struggled to score at times this season. The Lions average 23 points per game, but were held to two touchdowns or less in their five losses. Searcy's defense, led by senior linebacker Mike Brown, could keep things close against turnover-prone Texarkana. Texarkana coach Phillip Miller compares the Lions to Sheridan, which beat Texarkana 17-14 last week, but said Searcy is bigger up front.

Texarkana has lost three of its past five games since losing at El Dorado 27-21 with three seconds left on a blocked field goal attempt that was returned for a TD. The Razorbacks have also struggled to put points on the board, scoring 14 points in each of their past two games. Senior QB Kierra Harris has completed 96 of 173 passes for 1,559 yards and 17 TDs and rushed 92 times for 700 yards and seven scores this season. Sophomore running back Ke'Darious Grissom, who gains 7 yards per carry, earned his first start at Little Rock Fair three weeks ago after injuries to seniors Charles Hillis and Tavaris Clark. Senior Greg Milhorn paces the Razorbacks with 30 catches for 473 yards and six TDs, while senior linebacker Brian Briggs leads the defense with 90 tackles.
