No. 27 Star City at No. 10 Arkadelphia
This is the first meeting between these teams since 1976 (Arkadelphia won 21-6 in the first round). Star City has two losses this season by a touchdown or less (42-35 to Warren Week 5 and 35-29 at Dumas Week 6), and trailed Crossett 21-14 at halftime last week before losing 35-21. Star City blocked a punt for a TD and intercepted a pass in the red zone against Crossett. Bulldog senior two-way lineman Kristion Everett (6-1, 270), senior running back/linebacker Cole Branson (5-10, 190) versatile sophomore C.J. Turner (6-1, 170) have played well, Coach Chris Vereen says.
Arkadelphia canceled three games earlier this fall due to Covid 19, and lost its first game of 2020 last week at Malvern 33-25 (forcing the Badgers into the play-in round). Badger senior QB Braden “Buster” Thomas completed 22 of 43 passes at Malvern for 264 yards and three touchdowns, but he threw three interceptions. The Badgers ran 30 times for only 77 yards at Malvern, paced by junior Jaishon Davis' 15 carries for 55 yards and one TD. Arkadelphia's D gave up almost 400 yards.

Heber Springs at TRUMANN (8): Heber Springs led Mills at halftime last week but lost by 10 points. Heber Springs tries to confuse Trumann's D with crossing routes and double moves. Senior Matthew Cook converted from receiver to QB Week , and has passed for almost 1,600 yards and 12 TDs this fll. Nathan McKee leds the Panthers with 63 catches for 688 yards and four TDs. Sophomore LB Kenan Sneed paces the Panthers with 91 tackles, including seven TFL's, while senior Diego Rubio has 83 stops. Trumann senior Milton Lewis had 18 carries for 102 yards and a TD in last week's 34-21 win over Cave City, while Rian King ran 24 times for 79 yards and two TDs. Seven Trumann players, including four starters, were in quarantine vs. Cave City. Coach Randy Phillips expects two players to return this week.

BAUXITE (1) at Huntsville: Bauxite beat Fountain Lake 23-21 Week 7, but lost its final three games against top 10 opponents Joe T. Robinson, Arkadelphia and Nashville by a combined 172-47. Senior Conner Stacy passed for 238 yards and ran for 141 yards and a TD last week against Nashville. Huntsville hammered Green Forest and Berryville by a combined a 81-18 in Weeks 8-9, before losing last week to No. 1 Shiloh Christian 47-6. Sophomore Amos Mayes ran for Huntsville's only TD against Shiloh Christian. Senior Justin Reynolds ran eight times for 97 yards and two TDs the previous week against Green Forest.

Jonesboro Westside at HAMBURG (3): These teams met in the first round 2017, with Hamburg winning 20-7. Jonesboro Westside's game last week with Gosnell was canceled, and Coach Bobby Engle expects 14 players, including seven starters, to miss this game. Senior QB River Engle has 954 yards and 10 TDs this fall, while senior linebacker Tyler Ray paces the D with 70 tackles. Hamburg's defense played well in last week's 26-14 setback to Dumas, but the Lion offense had three drives stall inside the 25-yard line that resulted in zero points. Senior linebacker Gavin Harrod paces Hamburg in tackles.

Gravette at MILLS (2): Mills earns a home game after beating Heber Springs 34-24 a week ago and Southside Batesville 14-6 the previous week. Mills freshman Achilles Ringo threw a TD pass and caught a TD pass at Heber Springs. Gravette senior QB Cy Hilger completed 20 of 30 passes for 219 yards and two TDs in last week's 50-49 win over Gentry. Hilger has passed for 1,584 yards and 13 TDs this fall, and rushed for 359 yards and five TDs. Senior LB Trenton Durham paces the D with 69 tackles.

Green Forest at BALD KNOB (18): Bald Knob earns a home playoff game after beating CAC and Southside Batesville the past two weeks by a combined 62-38. Bald Knob's Marcus McGehee kicked two field goals last week at Southside Batesville, including the winning 29-yarder in the fourth quarter. Senior Bradyn Cline ran for a pair of TDs. Green Forest senior Reiley Gordon threw a TD pass and ran for another in last week's 18-12 win at Berryville, the Tigers' first victory of the season. Sophomore Ryan Bruegel ran 6 yards for the clinching TD in the fourth quarter.

FOUNTAIN LAKE (4) at Pottsville: Pottsville hasn't played since losing at Ozark 47-14 Week 8. The Apaches rely on senior athlete Elijah Bradley and a physical offensive front. Ashdown lost last week at Ashdown 14-12. The Cobras missed an extra point and failed on a two-point conversion with 55 seconds left. Five starters missed last week's game and four more played through injuries, Coach Kenneth Shelton says. Junior Caleb Lacy ran for 153 yards and three TDs two weeks go in a 33-7 win over H.G. Haskell.

Prairie Grove has a bye
Clinton at BLYTHEVILLE (6): Blytheville junior QB Jeremiah Northern ran for a TD and threw a TD pass in last week's 43-21 loss to Rivercrest. Northern has passed for 1,170 yards and 10 TDs this season, and rushed for 576 yards and three TDs. Clinton beat Bald Knob 21-16 Week 8, Heber Springs 32-26 Week 9 and lost last week at Lonoke 48-42. Sophomore QB Harley Tobin completed nine of 20 passes against Lonoke for 179 yards and two TDs, while junior Nick Epley caught five passes for 104 yards and one TD.
