HOOTENS.COM GAME OF THE WEEK
No. 6 Dollarway at No. 4 Stuttgart
These teams each beat Star City 36-29 the past two weeks. Dollarway has won four straight games since forfeiting four victories in mid-October. The Cardinals ousted 1-4A champion Ozark 34-31 a week ago, collapsing after building 17-point halftime lead before rallying from a four-point deficit in the third quarter. "Couldn't have written a better script," Dollarway coach Cortez Lee said. "It's kind of like our season. You're rolling along, face a situation, deal with that situation and come out on top."
Sophomore backup tailback Joshua Liddell ran for three touchdowns last week, including the go-ahead score late in the third quarter. Liddell has rushed for more than 800 yards and 11 TDs this fall, and intercepted eight passes at free safety. Junior Jeremiah Young has rushed for more than 1,300 yards this year, despite missing three games with an ankle injury. Young tweaked his ankle last week and didn't play after the first series, "but I bet he's ready to go this week," Lee said. Junior quarterback Xavier Long ran for the clinching TD and completed a critical third-down pass in the waning moments a week ago. Long threw the game-winning 43-yard pass with 12 seconds left in Week 10 to down Star City.
Stuttgart rides a stout rushing attack and a stingy defense that yields just 15 points a game. Humbert has rushed for 2,048 yards and 24 TDs this fall, including a 378-yard, five-TD performance against Star City.

WEEK 12 PLAYOFF PREDICTIONS (favored team in ALL CAPS followed by point spread)
TOP HALF OF THE BRACKET
Clarksville at MCGEHEE (10): McGehee gives up just 10 points a game, but must shake the bye week it earned as 8-4A champs. The Owls host a playoff game for the second straight year (beat Osceola in the first-round last season). Clarksville's 42-35 victory over Lonoke last week was its first playoff win in three years. Senior QB Andre Redman has thrown seven TD passes the past two weeks.
Farmington at HEBER SPRINGS (7): Heber Springs advances to the second round for the third time in four years after downing Shiloh Christian 48-35. Heber Springs senior QB Michael Ludwig and running back Markeyvus Mays combined for 371 yards and four TDs last week. Farmington dumped Dumas 42-6 a week ago, its first playoff win since beating Heber Springs 46-22 in the first round in 2007. Cardinal senior Deon Clay threw five TD passes against Dumas. Farmington hasn't advanced past the second round since going to the 1989 semifinals.
NASHVILLE (3) at De Queen: These rivals play for the second time this season. De Queen dumped Nashville 38-13 in Week 4, its first win in the series since 1998. "De Queen was more physical than us, and we didn't respond," Coach Tim Perry said. De Queen gained just 159 total yards but forced four turnovers in last week's 21-16 win at Booneville. Nashville goes for its second road victory of the season. The inexperienced Scrappers (only 15 seniors) beat 3-4A champion Highland 35-21 last week by generating 467 total yards, including 163 yards rushing by junior Jakaree Gaines. Nashville hasn't lost consecutive games to De Queen since 1989-1990.
Prairie Grove at MALVERN (8): Prairie Grove rushed for 410 yards and forced five turnovers in last week's 43-27 victory over Mena. Malvern gives up 15 points a game. The Leopards allow steady junior QB Austin Warford (three TD passes and one rushing TD against Gosnell) to make plays with his feet.
BOTTOM HALF OF THE BRACKET
Osceola at PULASKI ACADEMY (30): Osceola junior Korliss Marshall ran for 143 yards and a TD in last week's 14-12 win over Dardanelle, the only first-round victory for the 3-4A. Pulaski Academy received a first-round bye after winning the 7-4A this season. The Bruins average 49 points per game, with senior QB Fredi Knighten passing for 3,397 yards and 49 TDs. Pulaski Academy beat Osceola 37-21 in the 2005 semifinals.
Clinton at POTTSVILLE (10): Both teams are in the second round for the second straight time. This is the third meeting in 14 months between these teams (Clinton won 29-7 last year and Pottsville won 42-21 in Week 3). Clinton senior QB Park Parish ran for two TDs and returned an interception for another in last week's 35-point triumph over Maumelle. Pottsville junior Quwillen Porter ran for 147 yards and three scores in last week's 47-point triumph over Newport.
Dollarway at STUTTGART (3): Hootens.com Class 4A Game of the Week.
Gravette at WARREN (1): This is the first meeting between these teams. Warren freshman Kilay Cox ran for 208 yards and three TDs in last week's 28-point win over Valley View. Gravette senior running back Darrick Strzelecki has rushed for more than 1,500 yards and 25 TDs this fall.
