No. 5 Pulaski Robinson at No. 3 Booneville
This is the first playoff meeting between these teams since Pulaski Robinson beat Booneville 21-14 in the second round in 1976. Booneville has won 21 of its past 22 games and consecutive league championships. The Bearcats have committed just nine turnovers and own a four-to-one turnover ratio this season. Depleted by injuries early in the season, the Bearcats should start the same group of offensive linemen for the fourth straight game. Senior running back Talor Tatterson has rushed for 1,531 yards and 25 touchdowns this season. He's also caught a TD pass, returned an interception for a score, made 47 tackles and eight sacks. Senior Weston Hughes started the season at halfback but shifted to fullback when Anthony Napier injured his knee two months ago. Hughes has rushed for 699 yards and 15 scores, while senior quarterback Brock May has passed for 387 yards and eight scores. Linebacker Jacob Hattabaugh paces the Bearcats with 97 tackles. "Their running backs are as fast as any we've seen," said Pulaski Robinson coach Todd Eskola.

Pulaski Robinson features 19 seniors and averages 38 points per game. The Senators stomped Heber Springs by 37 points last week. Senior running back Jaalen Watkins has rushed for 1,408 yards and 20 TDs, while all-purpose performer Evian Hill has rushed for more than 500 yards and has 600 yards receiving. Hill caught two passes (both for scores) for 55 yards against Heber Springs. "They have size, speed, a Division I running back and a Division I receiver," said Booneville coach Scott Hyatt. "We have to figure out a way to slow them down."

TOP HALF OF THE BRACKET
NASHVILLE (10) at Gosnell: Nashville beat the Pirates 40-20 in the first round of the 2007 playoffs. Gosnell, which shared the 3-4A title with Valley View, received a first-round bye, while Nashville racked up 438 total yards and intercepted five passes in last week's 31-point win over Gentry. Nashville senior QB Cole Moore returned to the lineup last week after a two-week suspension, passing for three TDs in a 31-point win over Gentry.
McGehee at SHILOH CHRISTIAN (35): McGehee trailed Osceola in the second quarter last week before rallying for a 10-point victory. Shiloh Christian has applied the 35-point sportsmanship rule on every Class 4A opponent it has faced this season. The Saints led Warren 49-0 at halftime a week ago. Senior running back Garrett Harper has rushed for 904 yards this year, the Saints haven't produced a 1,000-yard rusher since Benny McDowell in 1997.

Mena at DUMAS (10): Mena's eight-point win at Marianna last week was its first in the postseason since advancing to the quarterfinals in 2000. Mena trailed Marianna by six points in the third quarter before QB Reed Mendoza threw and ran for TDs. Dumas rallied from a 13-point third quarter deficit in last week's two-point win over Malvern.

BOTTOM HALF OF THE BRACKET
ASHDOWN (6) at Clinton: Clinton received a first-round playoff bye after winning the 2-4A title, but the league went 0-4 in the first round of the playoffs. Clinton fullback Dylan Toney has rushed for 1,059 yards and 16 TDs while halfback Jake Hink has rushed for 1,044 yards and 12 scores this fall. Ashdown's DeVonte Forte returned a kickoff for a TD in last week's 20-point win at Subiaco Academy. Ashdown junior defensive end Glendon Bobo has established a state record with 21.5 sacks this year.
Ozark at PULASKI ACADEMY (31): Ozark has started as many as 15 sophomores this year. The Hillbillies held Stuttgart to 91 total yards (15 yards passing) in last week's 21-point victory. Pulaski Academy has won at least 10 games in five of the past seven seasons. Junior QB Fredi Knighten has passed for 3,385 yards and 43 TDs this year. Senior receivers Zac Reyna (58 catches, 920 yards and 10 TDs) and Garrett Lamb (48 catches, 849 yards and 15 TDs) fuel the potent passing attack.
Trumann at STAR CITY (8): Star City has allowed just six points the past two weeks. Bulldog senior Demetri Goins ran six times for 168 yards and three TDs in last week's 40-point win over Highland. Trumann beat Gravette by 13 points last week, its first playoff triumph since 2006.
Valley View at POTTSVILLE (7): Both teams are in the second round of the playoffs for the first time. Pottsville shut out Dollarway 26-0 a week ago and the Apaches haven't allowed a point the past two games. Valley View senior QB Taylor Lindley rallied the Blazers from a 14-point third quarter deficit against Clarksville last week.
