6A West (2) Shiloh Christian (8-3) at 6A EAST (1) BENTON (10-1): Shiloh Christian won the only other meeting between these schools 34-30 in the 2003 season opener. Shiloh Christian advanced to its seventh consecutive state semifinal with a 63-35 win over Van Buren. The Saints bolted to a 30-7 first-quarter lead en route to outgaining the Pointers 553-413. Shiloh got 178 yards passing and 3 touchdowns from sophomore quarterback Cole Creighton and 133 passing yards and 2 scores from sophomore Jake BodensteinJunior tailback Griffin Mason rushed for 163 yards on 13 carries and another TD. Dalton Carnes (3-100, TD) and Zane Sluyter (2-88, TD) led the receivers, while Brody Francis, Silas Nantze, Chandler Kemp and Carter Henley all caught TD tosses. Cohen Beach (6 tackles) led the defense, while Josiah Campbell, Tristan Carpenter, Carter Henley, and William Fryer all recorded 4 stops. Benton blitzed Lake Hamilton 57-14 for the Panthers’ seventh consecutive mercy-rule victory. The Panthers led 14-0 after the first quarter, 40-7 at halftime, and 54-7 after 3 quarters. Benton outgained Lake Hamilton 505-217, led by Luther Tucker’s 131 yards and a rushing TD and Chase Cobb’s passing (339 yards, 6 TDs). Benton receiver Maddox Davis rushed for a TD in the first quarter and caught a 22-yard TD toss from Cobb. This game features a Shiloh Christian offense that averages more than 225 rushing yards per game against as Benton's defense that specializes in stopping the run.

6A West (3) Mountain Home at 6A WEST (1) GREENWOOD: Greenwood has beaten Mountain Home 8 times since 2020, including playoff victories in 2020 (49-13), 2021 (42-0), and 2023 (56-14). Greenwood earned the outright 6A West title Week 10 with a 42-0 victory over Mountain Home. The Mountain Home Bombers have reached the state semifinals for the third time (1986 and  2006 previously) after beating Little Rock Catholic 45-14 last week at War Memorial Stadium. Mountain Home had lost 23 consecutive games entering Week 1 of the 2020 football season, Coach Steve Ary’s first season at the school. Since then, the Bombers have won at least 1 playoff game every year, and 2 so far this fall. Mountain Home got 118 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns from senior tailback Jacob Chenoweth, who also intercepted a pass that set up another Bombers scoring drive. Aiden Setzer, Caden Delsoto, and Luke Dismore consistently pressured the Rockets in the second half last. Bombers quarterback Brantlee Phillips, who missed most of this season with a shoulder injury, connected with Tate Cudworth for a TD to give Mountain Home a 14-0 lead, and the Bombers led 21-7 at halftime. The Rockets got within 21-14 early in the third quarter before Connor Shultz returned a kickoff 92 yards for a TD that gave the Bombers a 28-14 lead. Dawson Dunlap and Shultz added rushing TDs later to cap the scoring.

Top-ranked Greenwood beat El Dorado 48-0 a week ago, advancing to the state semifinals for the 24th time overall and for the 10th consecutive time. Greenwood’s 69th straight home victory was highlighted by junior QB Kane Archer (18-20 passing, 379 yards, 5 TDs). Greenwood, which recorded its second consecutive shutout and third of the season, was led on defense by Kaylor Jasna (9 tackles), Paul Brixey (7 stops) and Gage Hanna (7), while Cash Archer logged 5 tackles and 2 sacks.
