These teams ranked No. 2 and 3 in the preseason and end it ranked as the top two.

Greenwood won its fourth state title in six years launching a furious fourth-quarter rally to down Camden Fairview 36-35. Senior quarterback Stephen Hogan threw the winning two-point conversion pass to junior receiver Hayden Smith with 1:06 left. The Bulldogs scored 15 points in the final three minutes to win their fifth state title since 2000. Hogan passed for 191 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 77 yards in the title game. Hogan passed for 2,815 yards and 22 TDs this fall. Junior running back Justin Sunde claimed state title game MVP honors, rushing 19 times for 125 yards and four TDs and catching five passes for 39 yards. Senior linebacker Tony Sandifer made 10 tackles, including three for loss and a sack, while classmate Marco Vota, a finalist for State Farm Class 5A Defensive Player of the Year, made eight tackles.

Camden Fairview led by 14 points at halftime and went up 35-21 in the fourth quarter when junior Dominque Reed hauled in a 48-yard TD pass from senior QB Brandon Keaton. Keaton, a finalist for State Farm Class 5A Offensive Player of the Year, passed for 263 yards and four TDs and ran for 73 yards and a score. In his only season as a fulltime starter, Keaton generated 3,558 yards offense and 47 TDs. His cousin, junior Derek Keaton, ran for 96 yards and caught five passes for 42 yards in the title game. Senior linebacker Fred Ross paced the Cardinals with 13 tackles against Greenwood, and he ended the season with almost 100 stops, while sophomore linebacker Aaron Wynn racked up more than 160 tackles this season.

NEXT SEASON
Camden Fairview has finished as state runner-up the past two seasons and should make a deep journey in the playoffs next fall. The Cardinal offense returns dynamic playmakers Derek Keaton and Dominque Reed, while the defense features highly-recruited lineman Catorey Robinson and linebacker Aaron Wynn. Greenwood has played in seven title games over the past 15 years, including six over the past 11 seasons. The Bulldogs return running back and 2010 State Title Game MVP Justin Sunde. Morrilton could provide Greenwood a challenge in the 5A West next season. Devil Dog sophomore running back Jamar Criswell could develop into one of the state's top playmakers over the next two seasons.
