STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
PULASKI ACADEMY 42, GREENWOOD 35
The Pulaski Academy Bruins won their fourth consecutive state championship — their first in Class 6A — on Dec. 3 at War Memorial Stadium.
The Bruins won the previous three Class 5A state titles, then moved up to Class 6A because of the private school competition rule.
Pulaski Academy running back Kenny Jordan (35-192 rushing) scored 3 TDs.
Quarterback Kel Busby (19-31 passing, 262 yards; 51 rushing yards, 3 TDs) targeted Jaylin McKinney, who caught 12 passes for 118 yards.
Greenwood quarterback Hunter Houston (28-43 passes, 369 yards, 3 TDs) sought out LJ Robins (8-127 receiving, 2 TDs).
FOR THE SEASON
