STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME RECAP
Joe T. Robinson capped an undefeated season with a 34-19 win over Hot Springs Lakeside on Saturday. It was Joe T. Robinson’s first state championship since 2021. Junior receiver/safety Hakim Frampton (7-163 receiving, 3 TDs; 3 tackles) earned Most Valuable Player honors. Senior Kevin “Deuce” Williams, who didn’t play in the semifinals due to an injury, returned in a big way (22-88-1 rushing; 1-56 receiving). Senior linebacker Isiah “Tank” Reese made 9 tackles; defensive end Lennox Campos made 7 stops, including 2 sacks, and broke up a pass at the line of scrimmage.
