Saints unleash historic offense to topple Bulldogs for 6A crown

Shiloh Christian (11-2) struck early and never let Greenwood’s undefeated run breathe, rolling to a 70-50 win in the 6A state championship at War Memorial Stadium.

The Saints set the tone with a three-and-out on Greenwood’s drive, then marched 77 yards and watched Griffin Mason punch in a 3-yard touchdown. After another Shiloh march ended with Cole Kraton floating a scoring pass to Chandler Kemp, Greenwood answered in a flash when Kane Archer hit Cody Bland and Bland raced 69 yards to cut it to 14-7. Shiloh responded with another drive, with Mason scoring again to make it 21-7 after one.

Greenwood kept swinging in the second quarter. Archer found Bland for another score and later ran one in himself, but Shiloh’s offense stayed sharp, highlighted by Mason’s third short touchdown and a second Kraton-to-Kemp strike. A 52-yard interception return touchdown by Colton Miller widened the gap before Champ Davis brought the Bulldogs back with an 87-yard kickoff return as Shiloh led 42-28 at halftime.

Greenwood trimmed it to one possession in the third, but the Saints’ depth took over.
