HOOTENS.COM GAME OF THE WEEK
No. 6 McCrory at No. 16 Augusta

This huge rivalry (seven miles between towns) determines the 3-2A champion. McCrory RB Boyd Williams (73 attempts, 931 yards & 15 TDs) paces a Gus Malzahn-style Spread that has scored 284 points, most in the entire state. Williams (35 yards per punt return) and left-handed senior QB Paul Keen work behind a line anchored by senior guard Bradley Brogden (5-10, 185), T/DT Hunter Adams (6-3, 310), center Josh McDonald (5-10, 210) and super sophomore OT/DE Jamar Clark (6-6, 285). Senior WR/LB Jadrien Holiday leads the Jaguars in receiving (five TDs) and tackles. Fifteen of McCrory's 29 players are seniors. The McCrory starting defense has allowed just two TDs this season, and the Jags enjoy a plus-14 turnover margin. Augusta (5-1), which lost to No. 3 Hazen, counters with the most team speed in the 3-2A. Sophomore Cordell Turner directs his dad's (and head coach Roosevelt Turner) power I offense. All-league junior RB Ishma Clark and junior RB Octavius Lockhart can score every time they touch the football.

Cross County has not missed the playoffs since 2002.
Marked Tree at SALEM (17): Salem eyes its first playoff berth and six-win regular season since 2004. Marked Tree, which won five of the past eight league titles and three in a row, is in danger of missing the playoffs for the first time since 2004.
