Junior guard/linebacker Bryce Carter (achilles) did not play last week and is a game-day decision.
Harding Academy has won 30 straight conference games. The Wildcats average 48 points and 386 yards weekly this fall. Senior QB and Farm Bureau Awards watch list player Will Francis has completed 139 of 187 passes (74 percent) for 2,115 yards and 25 TDs with three interceptions this year. Junior Trey Davis has scored 14 TDs and gains 10.8 yards per play. "They're well-coached in all phases of the game," Barton coach Van Paschal says. "They're just as good as they have been. Defensively, they're always pretty solid." Harding Academy held Barton to 282 total yards in last year's 31-12 win. "We're able to run the ball a little more effectively this year and we've been able to distribute the ball," Harding Academy coach Roddy Mote says. "We're real pleased with our inside linebackers. Our defensive line is playing well and we're pretty solid in the secondary."

WEEK 10 PREDICTIONS (favored team in ALL CAPS followed by point spread)
1-3A
Elkins at GREEN FOREST (2): Elkins lost six turnovers in last week's 13-3 loss to Greenland. The Elks likely travel to top-ranked Glen Rose in the first round of the playoffs. Green Forest wins its third straight game, grabbing the No. 3 playoff seed (at Fountain Lake in the first round).
GREENLAND (7) at West Fork: Greenland clinches a share of the league title and No. 1 playoff seed. West Fork loses its third game in four weeks, finishing as the No. 4 seed.
MELBOURNE (6) at Mountain View: Melbourne likely finishes the year tied for fifth in the league, one game away from making the playoffs (lost to Elkins 34-20 in Week 7).
Yellville-Summit is open. The Panthers likely play host to Mayflower in the first round of the playoffs.
2-3A
BALD KNOB (13) at Perryville (Thurs.): Bald Knob ends a five-game skid. Four of the Bulldogs' five straight losses have been by a combined 30 points. Perryville has lost its six league games by an average of 30 points.
Barton at HARDING ACADEMY (9) (Thurs.): See Hootens.com Game of the Week.
Rose Bud at MAYFLOWER (6) (Thurs.): Rose Bud still in the playoff hunt despite losing last week to Riverview 35-22. Mayflower takes the No. 4 seed for a trip to Yellville-Summit in the first round.
Episcopal at RIVERVIEW (2): A battle for playoff positioning. Riverview finishes as the No. 3 seed, while Episcopal claims the No. 5 seed. Both teams play on the road in the first round. Riverview senior RB McKenzie Jones has 66 carries for 590 yards (8.9 ypc) and seven TDs this season. Harding University has offered Jones a scholarship.
3-3A
Piggott at CORNING (1) (Thurs.): Piggott needs 13 tiebreaker points and a Harrisburg loss to make the playoffs. Corning's playoff picture is less clear after last week's 14-8 loss to Harrisburg.
HOXIE (7) at Harrisburg (Thurs.): The winner of this game claims the No. 4 playoff seed. Hoxie still makes the playoffs with a loss. If Harrisburg loses, the Hornets need Piggott to beat Corning by no more than six points to claim the No. 5 seed.
OSCEOLA (1) at Rivercrest (Thurs.): Winner takes all in the 3-3A. Rivercrest beat Osceola 34-6 a year ago, holding the Seminoles to 71 total yards. The Colts managed just 152 total yards but forced six turnovers, including a fumble recovery in the end zone for a score. Osceola senior RB and Farm Bureau Awards watch list player Korliss Marshall has 1,694 yards and 24 TDs this fall. Rivercrest senior QB Phillip Porter has generated 958 yards and 14 TDs. The Colts carry a plus-12 turnover margin.

4-3A
Atkins at DANVILLE (1): Atkins claims the No. 4 playoff seed with a win. A loss could leave the Red Devils (25 tiebreaker points) out of the playoffs. Senior QB Ty Ennis (hand) has not played since the first half at Mansfield in Week 7. Danville can't make the playoffs. The Little Johns have allowed 17 ppg over the past month. Senior QB Dakota Long (concussion vs. Lamar) did not play in last week's 19-3 loss to Paris. Senior LB Montel Jiles leads Danville this fall with with more than 100 tackles. Jiles has averaged 14 tackles per game over the past five weeks.
Lavaca at CEDARVILLE (8): Lavaca can't make the playoffs. The Golden Arrows have won two games this year by a combined 13 points. Cedarville (2-4 in league play) owns 26 tiebreaker points. The Pirates could finish as high as the No. 4 playoff seed or miss the playoffs.
CHARLESTON (10) at Mansfield: Charleston junior Chance Shelby ran 33 yards for the game-winning TD in last week's 14-8 win over Cedarville. The Tigers start four sophomores and two freshmen on defense. Charleston will have a first-round bye in the playoffs as the No. 1 seed. Mansfield (24 tiebreaker points) must win and get some help to make the playoffs.
PARIS (6) at Lamar: The winner claims at least a share of the league title and could win it outright if Charleston loses to Mansfield. The loser finishes as the No. 3 seed. Paris senior Kyeran Hurley ran 15 times for 190 yards and two TDs in last week's 19-3 win over Danville. Lamar senior QB Jordan Haas threw two TD passes, ran for 88 yards and kicked two field goals in a 26-22 win over Atkins.
5-3A
Bismarck at CENTERPOINT (6) (Thurs.): Bismarck has lost 10 straight games since beating Centerpoint 43-22 last year. Centerpoint likely finishes as the No. 5 playoff seed but could miss the playoffs with a loss and Harmony Grove win.

GLEN ROSE (49) at Two Rivers (Thurs.): Glen Rose claimed its second league title in three years with last week's 52-14 win over Horatio. Senior RB Dillon Coney, who missed four weeks with a broken hand, ran eight times for 47 yards and a TD. The Beavers could play host to Camden Harmony Grove in the second round of the playoffs after a month of little resistance.
B. Harmony Grove at HORATIO (2) (Thurs.): Harmony Grove could grab the No. 5 playoff seed with a win and Centerpoint loss. Horatio finishes as the No. 3 playoff seed, playing host to Fordyce in the first round. Senior RB Kyle Cornish (knee) missed last week's 52-14 loss to Glen Rose. Cornish has 161 carries for 1,352 yards (8.4 ypc) and 22 TDs this season.
6-3A
C. HARMONY GROVE (29) at Drew Central (Thurs.): Harmony Grove beat Fordyce 48-43 last week. But the Hornets could finish as the No. 4 playoff seed behind Fordyce if the Redbugs beat McGehee.
Fouke at PRESCOTT (35) (Thurs.): Prescott can win the league outright and finish as the No. 1 playoff seed with a McGehee loss. Senior RB and Farm Bureau Awards watch list player Brandon Marks paces the Curley Wolves this fall with 122 carries for 1,020 yards (8.4 ypc) and 17 TDs.
Genoa Central at SMACKOVER (28) (Thurs.): Smackover finishes as the No. 5 playoff seed, traveling to Harding Academy or Barton in the first round.
MCGEHEE (1) at Fordyce: McGehee claims a share of the league title and top playoff seed with a win. A loss could drop the Owls to the No. 3 seed. McGehee held Smackover scoreless during most of last week's 14-6 win, giving up 224 total yards. Fordyce must win by at least two points to finish as the No. 2 seed. A loss sends the Redbugs to Horatio as the No. 4 seed in the first round. Fordyce surrendered 34 first-half points in last week's 48-43 loss to Harmony Grove.
