Class 4A No. 6 Heber Springs at No. 2 Bald Knob
Heber Springs junior running back Markeyvus Mays ran 29 times for 327 yards and two touchdowns in last week's 28-14 win over Harding Academy. Look for the Panthers to bring a more balanced attack this week against a salty Bald Knob defense (10 interceptions in 2010). The Bulldogs beat Heber Springs by four points in 2009 and went on to claim the 2-4A crown. Bald Knob sophomore quarterback Cordell Crisp has passed for 467 yards and six TDs this season.

BERRYVILLE (1) at Green Forest: Berryville's 10-game losing streak began with an eventual loss to Green Forest a year ago. The game ended in a 6-6 tie, but the Bobcats later forfeited. Green Forest junior QB Tanner Marr completed six of eight passes for 127 yards and two TDs, including a 65-yarder with 43 seconds left to junior RB Brian Badley, in last week's 18-12 win over Pea Ridge.
Pea Ridge at GREENLAND (7): Pea Ridge beat Greenland 40-21 a year ago. Greenland senior RB Anthony McCool ran 31 times for 142 yards and three TDs, while senior QB Jordan Larkan completed 14 of 28 passes for 189 yards and three TDs in last week's 40-14 win over Mansfield.
West Fork at PRAIRIE GROVE (4): West Fork senior RB Logan Genz ran 26 times for 190 yards and three TDs, while junior RB Will Jarnagan averaged more than 7 yards per carry in last week's 22-15 win over Farmington. Prairie Grove lost at West Fork 35-16 in 2009.
Lincoln at HAILEYVILLE, OKLA.(7): Lincoln beat Cedarville 28-21 for its first in-state win since Week 9, 2005 (30-16 at Gentry). Haileyville has lost five of its past six games, including two shutout losses to begin the season.
Marshall at PERRYVILLE (14): Marshall snapped an 11-game losing streak with last week's 53-14 win over Melbourne. Perryville beat Marshall 47-8 in 2009.
YELLVILLE-SUMMIT (21) at Rose Bud: Yellville-Summit looks for its third straight win in this series. The Panthers beat Rose Bud in 2006 and 2007 by a combined score of 69-15. Rose Bud lost to Mountain View 48-35 last week, despite outscoring the Yellowjackets 22-20 in the second half.
MOUNTAIN VIEW (2) at Jonesboro Westside: Mountain View looks to improve to 2-1, its best start since 2004. Jonesboro Westside carries an eight-game losing streak after a 28-point loss to Drew Central last week.
HUNTSVILLE (7) at Elkins: Huntsville senior DB Jeff Neal returned an interception 35 yards for a TD in the fourth quarter in last week's 21-8 win over Berryville. Elkins has lost two of its past three games against Huntsville.

YELLVILLE-SUMMIT (21) at Rose Bud: Yellville-Summit looks for its third straight win in this series. The Panthers beat Rose Bud in 2006 and 2007 by a combined score of 69-15. Rose Bud lost to Mountain View 48-35 last week, despite outscoring the Yellowjackets 22-20 in the second half.
Bismarck at ARKANSAS BAPTIST (14): Bismarck lost to Arkansas Baptist 42-23 last year. Arkansas Baptist forced six turnovers in last week's 35-0 win over Bigelow.
BARTON (8) at Carlisle: Barton senior RB Torrious Burton and junior RB Hunter Mauldin each ran seven times for a combined 409 yards and six TDs in last week's 67-46 win over Clarendon. Carlisle lost to Bauxite 42-21.
BRINKLEY (12) at Palestine-Wheatley: Brinkley beat Palestine-Wheatley 32-6 a year ago. Palestine-Wheatley beat Manila 22-19 last week.
HARDING ACADEMY (14) at Des Arc: Harding Academy senior QB Seth Keese completed 18 of 29 passes for 194 yards and a TD, while sophomore QB Will Francis threw for 176 yards and a TD in last week's 28-14 loss to Heber Springs. Des Arc senior RB Cody Robinson ran for two TDs and caught a 13-yard pass for another score in a 52-8 win over Brinkley.
EPISCOPAL (21) at B. Harmony Grove: Episcopal looks for its first win of the season after losing to Hoxie and England by combined 18 points. Harmony Grove lost to Gurdon 30-13 last week.
GLEN ROSE (14) at Mayflower: Glen Rose senior RB Steven Kehner ran 19 times for 188 yards and two TDs in last week's 32-14 win over Hot Springs. Mayflower lost to Glen Rose 52-25 a year ago.
Riverview at HARRISBURG (12): Riverview lost to Harrisburg 27-18 last year. Harrisburg senior QB Zach Davis completed 17 of 26 passes for 293 yards and five TDs in last week's 48-8 win over Hughes.

Riverview at HARRISBURG (12): Riverview lost to Harrisburg 27-18 last year. Harrisburg senior QB Zach Davis completed 17 of 26 passes for 293 yards and five TDs in last week's 48-8 win over Hughes.
MANILA (14) at Hughes: Manila improves to 2-1, matching last year's win total. Hughes lost its first two games to McCrory and Harrisburg by a combined score of 91-16.
Gosnell at RIVERCREST (7): Gosnell gained 727 yards of offense in last week's 62-34 win over Kennett, Mo. Pirate junior QB Gavin Sullivan completed 16 of 26 passes for 225 yards and three TDs and also ran 15 times for 131 yards and another score. Rivercrest senior safety Michael Wright and sophomore LB Clayton Carlton each racked up 13 stops in a 36-14 win over Osceola.
Hoxie at HIGHLAND (6): Hoxie junior QB Sebastian Irvin ran 21 times for 149 yards and a TD in last week's 48-20 loss to Greene County Tech. Highland sophomore RB Jordan Brewer carried eight times for 200 yards and three TDs in a 55-7 win over Corning.
OSCEOLA (3) at Earle: Osceola was held scoreless until the fourth quarter in last week's 36-14 loss to Rivercrest. Earle junior DE Shakur Johnson recorded 12 tackles and five sacks in a 34-14 win over Lake Village.
Corning at POCAHONTAS (25): These former conference foes meet for the first time since 2005. Corning carries a 14-game losing streak after last week's 55-7 loss to Highland. Pocahontas snapped a nine-game losing streak with a 28-20 win over Paragould. Redskin senior FB Luke Smith ran 27 times for 228 yards and three TDs against the Rams.
PIGGOTT (7) at Salem: Piggott looks for its fourth win in five games. Salem lost to Yellville-Summit 33-6 last week.

4-3A
Ozark at CHARLESTON (2): Ozark forced its first shutout since Week 8, 2007 (35-0 against Subiaco Academy) in last week's 39-point win over Clarksville. Charleston has beaten the Hillbillies by an average of 28-10 over the past five years.
DARDANELLE (10) at Atkins: Dardanelle beat Atkins 42-6 a year ago and looks to snap a seven-game losing streak. Atkins has scored seven points or less in each of its past seven games.
Lamar at DOVER (7): Lamar looks to avoid its first 0-3 start since 2005. Dover has won six of its past seven games, allowing 11 points per game in each of those wins.
MENA (14) at Mansfield: Mena's senior-laden offensive line controls the outcome of this game. Mansfield committed five turnovers and did not score in the second half in last week's 40-14 loss to Greenland.
Cedarville at WALDRON (1): Cedarville has not won on the road since beating Perryville 15-9 in the second round of the 2008 playoffs. Waldron last won at home Week 10, 2006 (28-19 against Subiaco Academy).
Marshall at PERRYVILLE (14): Marshall snapped an 11-game losing streak with last week's 53-14 win over Melbourne. Perryville beat Marshall 47-8 in 2009.
Lavaca at MOUNT IDA (1): Lavaca has lost four of its past five games, allowing 40 points per game during that stretch. Mount Ida beat Lavaca 28-20 a year ago.
PARIS (14) at Heavener, Okla.: Paris senior RB Austin Sevier scored three TDs in last week's 44-20 win over Waldron. Heavener sophomore RB Blake Smittle ran 22 times for 174 yards in a 14-6 loss to Savanna, Okla.

Bismarck at ARKANSAS BAPTIST (14): Bismarck lost to Arkansas Baptist 42-23 last year. Arkansas Baptist forced six turnovers in last week's 35-0 win over Bigelow.
EPISCOPAL (21) at B. Harmony Grove: Episcopal looks for its first win of the season after losing to Hoxie and England by combined 18 points. Harmony Grove lost to Gurdon 30-13 last week.

HS Lakeside at FOUNTAIN LAKE (4): Lakeside aims for its third straight win and best stretch since winning its last four games in 2004. Fountain Lake has allowed 28 points in each of its first two games. The Cobras gave up 28 points only once last year in a 35-28 win over the Rams.
Hope at PRESCOTT (3): Hope has beaten Prescott by an average of 24 points over the past two years. Prescott gave up 318 yards passing in last week's 45-7 loss to Nashville.
Centerpoint at MURFREESBORO (14): Centerpoint carries an 11-game losing streak after last week's 40-0 loss to Mena. Murfreesboro beat Centerpoint 35-0 a year ago.
CONWAY CHRISTIAN (16) at Cutter M. Star: Conway Christian senior RBs Adam Ragland and Bates Isom ran for a combined 480 yards and nine TDs in last week's 66-49 win over Quitman. Cutter Morning Star won its first two games over Western Yell County and Two Rivers by four points combined.

DeWitt at RISON (17): DeWitt lost to Hazen 32-24 last week. Rison was held scoreless until the fourth quarter in a 28-13 loss to Star City.
HAMBURG (4) at Fordyce: Hamburg senior RB Chaudrion Hughes ran for 223 yards and four TDs in last week's 49-27 win over Crossett. Fordyce beat Hamburg 13-7 a year ago.
STAR CITY (2) at C. Harmony Grove: Star City senior QB Ty Towers completed 12 of 23 passes for 196 yards in last week's 28-13 win over Rison. C. Harmony Grove beat Hampton 40-0.
Drew Central at CLARENDON (1): Drew Central scored 30 unanswered points in last week's 36-8 win over Jonesboro Westside. Clarendon has scored 87 points in its first two games.
DIERKS (21) at Fouke: Dierks has beaten Fouke by an average of 26 points since 2005. Fouke senior WR Casey Trexler returned a kickoff 85 yards for a TD in last week's 42-6 loss to Spring Hill.
SPRING HILL (35) at Genoa Central: Spring Hill senior RB Rodrea Jones scored four TDs in last week's 42-6 win over Fouke. Genoa Central lost 69-12 to Maud, Tex.
LAFAYETTE COUNTY (6) at Gurdon: Lafayette County has given up 99 points in its first two games. Gurdon beat Benton Harmony Grove 30-13 last week.
STRONG (2) at Smackover: Strong beat Smackover 14-6 a year ago. Smackover has lost four of its past five games.
