Class 4A No. 8 Ozark at No. 5 Charleston
Ozark beat Charleston 20-14 last fall for the first time since the Franklin County Feud resumed in 2004.
Ozark senior quarterback Jonathon McKenzie threw two touchdown passes and ran for two scores in a 27-6 win over rival Booneville two weeks ago. Senior running back Bubba Elder ran 18 times for 124 yards and two TDs in last week's 28-6 win over Clarksville. Senior linebacker Ethan Hawkins leads Ozark this season with 25 tackles. Senior free safety Toby Richard and junior cornerback Jake Simpson have each intercepted two passes. "Their defense is what makes them so good," Charleston coach Doug Loughridge says. "This is the toughest test we'll see all year."
Charleston beat Clarksville 40-20 in its season opener and defeated 1-4A member Gentry 52-21 last week. Sophomore QB Ty Storey has completed 60 of 84 passes (71 percent) for 832 yards and nine TDs this season. Senior receiver Taylor Loveday paces the Tigers with 15 catches for 271 yards and four TDs. Junior receiver Chance Shelby averages 20.7 yards per catch. "It's going to be a big battle defensively," Ozark coach Jeremie Burns says. "Storey's a big weapon and hopefully we can get a pass rush against him."

HUNTSVILLE (14) at Elkins: Elkins senior QB Mitchell Clark generated 198 yards and a TD in last week's 26-16 loss to Lavaca. The Elks beat Huntsville 24-14 last year.
BERRYVILLE (7) at Green Forest: Green Forest has lost its first two games by a combined 49-3. The Tigers beat Berryville 35-0 in 2011.
PEA RIDGE (8) at Greenland: Pea Ridge has beaten 1-3A members Elkins and Green Forest by a combined 86-7. Greenland beat the Blackhawks 28-13 a year ago.
Melbourne at SOUTHSIDE BATESVILLE (1): Melbourne beat Cave City 28-14 last week. Southside Batesville tied Cave City 32-32 two weeks ago.
BROOKLAND (21) at Mountain View: Brookland's Week 2 game with Piggott was canceled. Mountain View has lost its first two games by a combined 60-0.
West Fork at PRAIRIE GROVE (21): West Fork lost to Farmington 25-0 last week. Prairie Grove beat West Fork 35-14 last fall.
England at YELLVILLE-SUMMIT (1): England beat Episcopal 40-14 last week, while Yellville-Summit lost to Salem 8-7. The Panthers have scored 20 points in their two games.
2-3A
BALD KNOB (26) at Augusta: Bald Knob has scored 32 points in its two games. Augusta beat Marvell 66-0 last week.
Clarendon at BARTON (28): Barton has beaten DeWitt and Des Arc by a combined 57-0. Senior WB Kedrick Jackson ran 10 times for 122 yards and returned a punt 70 yards for a TD in last week's 28-0 win over Des Arc. The Bears beat Clarendon 48-22 last fall.
EPISCOPAL (1) at Brinkley: Both teams looking for their first win. Episcopal has scored 26 points in its two games. Brinkley lost to Brookland and Cross County by a combined 83-20.
Des Arc at HARDING ACADEMY (27): Des Arc lost to 2-3A member Barton 28-0 last week. Harding Academy senior QB Will Francis has completed 15 of 23 passes (65 percent) for 234 yards and two TDs in two weather-shortened games this season.
Salem at MAYFLOWER (15): Salem beat Yellville-Summit 8-7 last week, while Mayflower lost to Dardanelle 47-13.
RIVERVIEW (2) at Harrisburg: Harrisburg has beaten the Raiders by an average of 12 points over the past four years. Riverview's Week 2 game with Hoxie was canceled. Harrisburg trailed Marked Tree 28-22 at halftime last week when the game was called no contest.
CONWAY CHRISTIAN (7) at Rose Bud: Conway Christian senior QB Tanner Stevenson completed 16 of 23 passes for 226 yards and four TDs in last week's 42-30 win over Cedarville. Rose Bud was idle.
SUBIACO ACADEMY (14) at Perryville: Subiaco Academy did not scratch last week in a 18-0 loss to 4-3A member Lamar. The Trojans find more room to run this week against 2-3A Perrville, which lost Week 1 to 2A rival Bigelow for the first time since 2006.

Corning at POCAHONTAS (11): Corning beat Jonesboro Westside 37-7 last week. Pocahontas beat the Bobcats 42-16 a year ago.
EARLE (7) at Trumann: Earle lost to Lake Hamilton 49-6 last week, while Trumann lost to Nettleton 48-0.
RIVERVIEW (2) at Harrisburg: Harrisburg has beaten the Raiders by an average of 12 points over the past four years. Riverview's Week 2 game with Hoxie was canceled. Harrisburg trailed Marked Tree 28-22 at halftime last week when the game was postponed.
HOXIE (8) at Cave City: Hoxie's Week 2 game with Riverview was canceled. Cave City won the last meeting in this series (14-7 in 2009). Hoxie beat the Cavemen 46-10 in 2008.
Manila at MCCRORY (35): Manila plays its second game in five days. McCrory senior RB Logan Best scored four TDs in last week's 30-6 win over Hazen.
Carlisle at OSCEOLA (6): Carlisle beat Mountain Pine 50-0 last week. Osceola senior RB Jamal Jackson ran five times for 97 yards and two TDs in a 18-0 weather-shortened win over Gosnell.
PIGGOTT (8) at Palestine-Wheatley: Piggott's Week 2 game with Brookland was canceled. Palestine-Wheatley beat Drew Central 44-20 last week.
Gosnell at RIVERCREST (2): Gosnell beat Rivercrest 21-7 last year. Rivercrest has lost its two games by a combined 20 points.
4-3A
ATKINS (13) at Two Rivers: Atkins' Week 2 game with Bigelow was canceled. Two Rivers has beaten Hector and Poyen by a combined 57-8.
Cedarville at WALDRON (2): Both teams coming off Week 2 losses. Cedarville allowed 418 total yards in last week's 42-30 loss to Conway Christian. Waldron beat Cedarville 24-12 last season. The Bulldogs have won three games over the past two years, including two over Cedarville by a combined 41 points.

DANVILLE (6) at Bigelow: Both teams' Week 2 games were canceled. Danville won the last meeting in this series (45-12 in 2009) but later forfeited.
W. Yell County at LAMAR (42): Western Yell County has lost its two games by a combined 93-0. Lamar junior RB Hunter Sanders ran 11 times for 93 yards and a TD in last week's 18-0 win over Subiaco Academy.
Lavaca at MOUNT IDA (10): The visiting team has won the past four games in this series. Lavaca junior RB Anthony Todaro ran 23 times for 104 yards and a TD and threw a 20-yard TD pass in last week's 26-16 win over Elkins. Mount Ida beat the Golden Arrows 38-7 in 2011.
Mena at MANSFIELD (3): Mena has won the past two meetings by an average of seven points. Mansfield senior RB Timmy Snider rushed for 221 yards and two TDs in last week's 37-14 win over Greenland.
Paris at FARMINGTON (3): These teams meet for the first time since 2005 when Farmington defeated the Eagles 21-14. Paris has beaten Johnson County Westside and Waldron by a combined 89-0, preventing both teams from entering the red zone. Junior RB Justin Estala ran three times for 147 yards and two TDs in last week's 49-0 win over Waldron.
5-3A
MAGNET COVE (7) at B. Harmony Grove: These teams meet for the first time. Magnet Cove beat 5-3A member Centerpoint 21-14 last week, while Harmony Grove lost to Gurdon 41-8.
Cutter M. Star at BISMARCK (2): Both teams coming off Week 2 losses. Bismarck has lost to 7-2A members Murfreesboro and Dierks by a combined 38-101. The Lions beat Cutter Morning Star 41-12 a year ago.
Centerpoint at MURFREESBORO (3): This game has been decided by less than eight points the past two years. Centerpoint has lost its two games by a combined 11 points. The Knights beat Murfreesboro 22-19 last fall.
FOUNTAIN LAKE (42) at Mountain Pine: Fountain Lake senior WB Andrew Barber averages 8.7 yards per carry. Mountain Pine lost to 5-3A member Jessieville 49-13 two weeks ago.
GLEN ROSE (18) at Mineral Springs: Glen Rose beat Bauxite 35-0 last week. Mineral Springs' Week 2 game with Danville was canceled.
HORATIO (8) at Foreman: Horatio sophomore RB Jimmy Starwalt ran 20 times for 162 yards, including 15 yards for the game-winning TD, in last week's 33-32 win over Murfreesboro. Senior RB Kyle Cornish scored three TDs in the first quarter. The Lions beat Foreman 61-13 last year.
JESSIEVILLE (18) at Bauxite: Bauxite owned this series for more than two decades. But Jessieville has won the past two meetings by a combined 65-8. The Lions have beaten 5-2A members Mountain Pine and Mount Ida by a combined 77-13. Bauxite has lost to No. 3 Harding Academy and No. 1 Glen Rose by a combined 56-0.
ATKINS (13) at Two Rivers: Atkins' Week 2 game with Bigelow was canceled. Two Rivers has beaten Hector and Poyen by a combined 57-8.

Arkansas Baptist at C. HARMONY GROVE (7): Arkansas Baptist beat Harmony Grove 26-6 in the second round of the playoffs last year. Harmony Grove lost to Star City 38-28 last week after leading 21-20 in the third quarter.
Drew Central at LAKE VILLAGE (16): These teams meet for the first time. Drew Central lost to Palestine-Wheatley 44-20 last week, while Lake Village lost to Malvern 34-14.
Monticello at FORDYCE (2): Monticello beat Magnolia 41-20 last week. Fordyce has beaten Rison and Crossett by a combined 79-20. Senior QB Cole Johnson has completed 22 of 37 passes (60 percent) for 337 yards and five TDs this season. Junior RB Larry Buckley has scored five TDs (three rushing, two receiving) and gains 11.5 yards per play.
Lafayette County at FOUKE (12): Lafayette County has lost to Horatio and Genoa Central by a combined 80-10. Fouke has allowed 90 points in its two games.
Spring Hill at GENOA CENTRAL (1): Spring Hill beat the Dragons 42-6 a year ago. Genoa Central beat 7-2A member Lafayette County 40-8 last week. The Dragons lost to 7-2A member Foreman 35-21 two weeks ago.
DeWitt at MCGEHEE (21): McGehee beat the Dragons 35-0 last fall. The Owls have beaten 8-4A members Monticello and Dumas by a combined 27 points.
HOPE (7) at Prescott: Prescott has won the past two meetings by an average of 20 points. Hope last beat the Curley Wolves 27-0 in 2009. Prescott senior QB Trevor Rucker completed 10 of 19 passes for 166 yards and three TDs in last week's 36-7 win over Spring Hill.
Hermitage at SMACKOVER (41): Hermitage lost to Parkers Chapel 48-0 last week. Smackover makes it three in a row over 8-2A members after beating Norphlet and Strong by a combined 76-16.
