No. 20 Highland at No. 12 Valley View
A battle of unbeatens and the winner might take the 3-4A title. Highland's last league title came in 2007. Valley View, in just its fifth year of varsity football, has never won a conference championship.

Valley View knocked off two-time defending league champs Osceola 44-40 two weeks ago and pounded Pocahontas 28-6 last week. Senior running back Kevin Bosze has gained 680 yards this year, including 199 yards against Pocahontas. Senior quarterback Taylor Lindley passed for 180 yards and two scores and ran for 80 yards last week. Lindley ran for 191 yards and two scores at Osceola.

Highland didn't play last week. The Rebels, whose offense mirrors Valley View's multiple attack, outscore their opponents by an average of 41-7. "They can spread the field or get in a power set and run some (isolation) plays," said Valley View coach Shannon Sherman. Sophomore QB Sterling Stowers has passed for 549 yards and rushed for 362 yards this season, while sophomore running back Jordan Brewer has dashed for 525 yards. Senior linebacker Scott Gatewood paces Highland's defense with 28 tackles, while junior cornerback Ben Markway paces Highland with seven interceptions.

TV SHOW
Hooten's Arkansas Football airs 11 a.m. Saturday's on Fox 16 in Little Rock and KFSM TV 5 in Fort Smith/Fayetteville. Games scheduled to be featured this week include Ashdown at Malvern, DeQueen at Pulaski Academy, Gravette at Ozark, Prairie Grove at Shiloh Christian, Southside Batesville at Lonoke and Bauxite at Pulaski Robinson. Star City senior Joe Brown will be featured as the Air Guard Scholar Athlete of the Week on Hootens Arkansas Football TV Show at 11 a.m. Saturday on Fox 16.

LAST WEEK
Hootens.com correctly predicted 17 of 24 games (71 percent), nailing the spread of Shiloh Christian by 35 points over Pea Ridge. For the season, Hootens.com has correctly predicted 142 of 176 games (81 percent).

Berryville at FARMINGTON (16): Berryville hasn't beaten Farmington since 2003. Farmington QB Trey Spencer completed 14 of 27 passes for 164 yards, including the game-winning TD against Prairie Grove a week ago.
GRAVETTE (2) at Ozark: The winner might get the league's No. 2 playoff seed. Gravette junior Derrick Strzelecki has ran for 649 yards this season, including 173 in last week's 25-20 win over Gentry. Ozark averages 28 points per game.
Pea Ridge at GENTRY (17): Standout Eathen Ramsey paces Gentry in rushing (372 yards, four TDs), tackles (30) and interceptions (three). Pea Ridge, which averages just seven points a game, gained just 37 yards at Shiloh Christian a week ago.
Prairie Grove at SHILOH CHRISTIAN (31): Prairie Grove handed Shiloh Christian's its last conference loss 40-32 in 2005. The Tigers also upended the Saints 20-8 in 2003. But Prairie Grove's offense has sputtered this season, mustering just a field goal in last week's 9-3 loss to Farmington. Shiloh Christian senior running back Garrett Harper has ran 37 times for 261 yards and five TDs and caught 14 passes for 265 yards this season. Harper also averages 35 yards per kickoff return. Hooten's will have highlights 11 a.m. Saturday on KFSM TV 5.

CLINTON (18) at Cave City: This is the first varsity game between these teams. Clinton running back Jake Hink rushed for 277 yards in last week's 25-point win over Southside Batesville.
HEBER SPRINGS (10) at Marianna: Heber Springs traces its recent football surge to a 32-30 win at Marianna in 2008, when the Panthers rallied from a 30-0 second quarter deficit. Panther running back Markeyvus Mays has tallied almost 1,000 yards this season.
NEWPORT (1) at Stuttgart: Stuttgart surrendered the winning TD in the final 30 seconds at Heber Springs a week ago. Newport has won consecutive games after a 0-3 start. Greyhound senior Artez Brown ran for 124 yards and returned an interception 55 yards for a critical TD in last week's 42-39 victory over Lonoke. Stuttgart beat Newport by a point in Week 10 last year. Hooten's will have highlights 11 a.m. Saturday on Fox 16.
Southside Batesville at LONOKE (31): Lonoke's six-game conference winning streak got snapped last week. Lonoke senior Darius Scott ran for 113 yards, two TDs and returned an interception 100 yards for a score at Newport a week ago. Lonoke has beaten Southside Batesville an average of 48-6 in their four varsity meetings. Hooten's will have highlights 11 a.m. Saturday on Fox 16.

Highland at VALLEY VIEW (6): Hootens.com Game of the Week.
Jonesboro Westside at OSCEOLA (28): A battle of winless teams. Jonesboro Westside gets outscored an average of 35-7 weekly. Osceola sophomore Korliss Marshall has ran for 606 yards and eight TDs this season.
Trumann at GOSNELL (11): These teams have split the past four meetings, with Trumann winning a pair of one-point thrillers in 2008 and 2006. Gosnell snapped a six-year losing streak to Osceola a week ago. Trumann junior QB Jimmy Creecy tallied almost 300 yards and four TDs against Jonesboro Westside last week.
Pocahontas is open.

Dover at BOONEVILLE (21): Dover QB Colton Williams has rushed for more than 500 yards this season. Booneville running back/linebacker Anthony Napier could miss the rest of the season with an injury.
MENA (24) at Waldron: Undefeated Mena might play Booneville for the league title in Week 10. Mena surrenders eight points a game. Bearcat QB Reed Mendoza threw for more than 200 yards and ran for 108 yards and two scores in last week's 38-20 victory over Clarksville.
POTTSVILLE (1) at Dardanelle: Pottsville must stay focused after losing at Booneville by two TDs a week ago. Pottsville led Booneville 7-6 in the second quarter. Dardanelle's offense, defense and special teams accounted for TDs in last week's 42-26 homecoming victory over Waldron.
Subiaco Academy at CLARKSVILLE (2): Subiaco Academy senior safety Hasten Freeman intercepted five passes in last week's six-point win at Dover. Classmate Jacob Nehus ran for 156 yards and a score at Dover. Clarksville linebacker Aaron Plugge has wrapped up 56 tackles this fall.

7-4A
ASHDOWN (2) at Malvern: Ashdown's D hasn't allowed a point and given only 10 first downs this fall. The streak gets tested this week by Malvern playmakers Dontail Henson (202 yards against Pulaski Robinson) and receiver James King. Hooten's will have highlights 11 a.m. Saturday on Fox 16.
Bauxite at PULASKI ROBINSON (14): Pulaski Robinson returned a punt for a TD, blocked an extra point and made a fourth-quarter two-point conversion in last week's 28-27 overtime victory over Malvern.
DeQueen at PULASKI ACADEMY (32): Pulaski Academy's offense gets another dimension with QB Fredi Knighten's running ability. Knighten has scrambled for 379 yards and three TDs this fall, while throwing for 1,542 yards and 15 scores. Hooten's will have highlights 11 a.m. Saturday on Fox 16.
Pulaski Oak Grove at NASHVILLE (21): Pulaski Oak Grove hung with Pulaski Academy two weeks ago, trailing the Bruins by just one point at halftime. But the Hornets trailed winless DeQueen 7-0 at halftime last week and used an interception return for a TD to pull out a nine-point win.

DUMAS (1) at Warren: Warren needs a victory to stay in playoff contention. The Lumberjacks have lost consecutive league games for the first time since Week 7 and 8, 2000. Warren 1gave up almost 500 yards and 48 points in a last week's 13-point setback to Star City. Dumas QB Darion Griswold makes plays running and passing out of the Spread attack.
Hamburg at STAR CITY (24): Hamburg's only victory came against winless Crossett. The Lions surrender 35 points per game. Star City must avoid a letdown after beating Warren for the first time since 2003. Star City senior Joe Brown will be featured as the Air Guard Scholar Athlete of the Week on Hooten's Arkansas Football TV Show at 11 a.m. Saturday on Fox 16.
Lake Village at MCGEHEE (8): McGehee ran for more than 300 yards in last week's 30-0 win at Hamburg. But Lake Village always plays tough against its neighbor, with McGehee winning four of the past seven games by a TD or less, including last year's 7-6 decision.
DOLLARWAY (22) at DeWitt: DeWitt can't slow Dollarway's running game. The Cardinals massive line creates holes and wears down opponents. DeWitt gives up 35 points per game.
