No. 3 Camden Fairview at Class 4A No. 8 Hamburg

Camden Fairview first-year coach Mike Cox returns to Ashley County, where he led Hamburg to 18 wins the past three seasons. Camden Fairview fell behind rival El Dorado 21-0 last week before losing 28-21. Junior quarterback Logan Reed completed 18 of 30 passes for 238 yards and a touchdown, but he threw two interceptions. Senior receiver Cornelius Page grabbed nine passes for 149 yards and a score. Senior safety Don Accor (nine tackles), linebacker Roman Ross (seven tackles) and end Spencer Lewis (six tackles) led Camden Fairview's defense.

Hamburg counters with one of the faster teams in Class 4A (seven players clock 4.5 speed or lower). The Lions sped past McGehee 39-14 a week ago. They usually run senior QB Trey Miller on sweep plays, then Miller fires quick bubble and tunnel screens to receivers open in space. "They get in five-wide receiver sets and make you tackle," Cox says. "They are faster than we are, and all their skill players can score on any play."

TV SHOW

PULASKI ACADEMY (2) at New Smyrna Beach, Fla.: New Smyrna Beach, located 30 minutes from Daytona Beach, lost its opening two games by a combined 82-28. Pulaski Academy hung with Class 6A Highland Park, Texas before losing by seven points last week. Bruin QB Will Hefley threw for 448 yards last week.
SYLVAN HILLS (10) at HS Lakeside: Sylvan Hills beat the Trojans by four points last year, and a close game was ruled a no contest when halted by lightening in 2012. LONOKE (4) at Beebe: Lonoke has beaten Beebe four of the past five seasons. Lonoke trailed Star City by four points at halftime last week but lost by 15 points. Beebe lost by 19 points to Greenbrier last week. Watch highlights of Lonoke's Week 1 against Star City here.
Jacksonville at BENTON (21): Benton tied Class 7A Bryant 14-14 last week in the Salt Bowl. Benton's D didn't allow Bryant inside the 40-yard line in the second half. Jacksonville lost to Maumelle last week when the Hornets kicked a field goal with four seconds left. Watch highlights of Benton's Week 2 against Jacksonville here.
LR Hall at MILLS (18): Mills struggled in its preseason scrimmage with Benton and didn't score in last week's 25-0 loss to LR Parkview. LR Hall hasn't won since Week 3, 2011. The Warriors beat Mills 26-24 in Week 2, 2011.
LR McClellan at BRYANT (42): LR McClellan hasn't won a non conference game since beating LR Fair Week 2, 2009. The Lions have won just eight games the past seven seasons. Watch highlights of Bryant's Week 2 against LR McClellan here.
LR PARKVIEW (28) at LR Fair: LR Parkview scored 25 points last week against Mills. LR Fair hasn't scored 25 points in a game in seven years.
MAUMELLE (35) at North Pulaski: Maumelle kicked the winning field goal with four seconds left last week at Jacksonville. North Pulaski hasn't won a non conference game since Week 1, 2012.

5A EAST
Searcy at BATESVILLE (7): Searcy last win in the series was 41-21 in the first round of the 2002 playoffs. Batesville senior QB Kendrick Crawford passed for 132 yards and a TD in last week's 28-point win over Watson Chapel. Searcy led Batesville 46-0 at halftime last week.
WYNNE (14) at Tunica (Miss.) Rosa Fort: The Rosa Fort Lions (1-2) play their fourth game of the season. Top-ranked Wynne impressed last week with 64-7 win over Class 6A Marion. Wynne led 50-0 at halftime.
DOLLARWAY (3) at Forrest City: Dollarway senior running back Keyshawn Williams ran for three TDs in last week's 24-point win at West Helena. Forrest City led Class 7A West Memphis 21-20 at halftime last week and 41-34 in the final seconds before West Memphis scored the winning TD and two-point conversion with no time left on the clock. Mustang QB Jamal Turner passed for 247 yards against West Memphis.
NEWPORT (21) at Greene Co. Tech: Newport junior Carl Turner ran for 230 yards in last week's 15-point win over Nettleton. Greene County Tech failed to score last week against Searcy.
NETTLETON (6) at Marion: This is the first meeting between these teams. Marion has lost eight straight games, including 64-7 last week against Wynne.
VALLEY VIEW (1) at Mountain Home: Valley View goes for its first-ever win over a Class 6A opponent. Mountain Home has lost 21 straight games.
Paragould at POCAHONTAS (7): Paragould's 19-0 win over the Redskins last season snapped a three-game losing streak in the series. Pocahontas beat Paragould by a combined 30 points from 2010-2012.
BLYTHEVILLE (7) at Okolona, Miss.: Blytheville's only win last year was 26-14 over Okolona, Miss. The improved Chickasaws clobbered Osceola by 35 points a week ago.

5A SOUTH
SYLVAN HILLS (10) at HS Lakeside: Sylvan Hills beat the Rams by four points last year, and a close game was ruled a no contest when it was halted because of lightning in 2012. WHITE HALL (7) at LR Christian: White Hall beat LR Christian by three points last season and LR Christian led 7-6 in 2012 when the game was ruled a no contest because of lightening. LR Christian QB Brooks Boshears passed for 302 yards in last week's 10-point loss at Class 4A Fountain Lake.
Watson Chapel at PINE BLUFF (21): Watson Chapel hasn't beaten the Zebras since 2005. Pine Bluff turned the ball over six times in last week's 11-point loss at Fort Smith Northside. Watch highlights of Pine Bluff's Week 1 against FS Northside here.
ASHDOWN (3) at Hope: Ashdown has won three of four in the series since in renewed in 2010. Ashdown recorded two safeties, and senior La'Montrick Turner ran for a pair of TDs in last week's 17-pint win at Durant, Okla. Hope's D never slowed slowed Nashville last week.
MAGNOLIA (6) at Monticello: These teams played for the 1994 state championship.Monticello sophomore QB Jeff Carmical passed for 184 yards and two TDs and ran for another in last week's 12-point win over Lake Village.
HOT SPRINGS (3) at Mena: Hot Springs has lost six straight season openers, but they've rebounded with wins over Mena the past two years. The Trojans led Lake Hamilton late last week before giving up the winning field goal in the final minute.
De Queen at NASHVILLE (35): Nashville has won three straight (including 28-21 in the 2011 playoffs) over De Queen. Scrapper sophomore Darius Hopkins ran for 225 yards and three TDs last week against Hope.

5A WEST
MAUMELLE (35) at North Pulaski: Maumelle kicked the winning field goal with four seconds left last week at Jacksonville. North Pulaski hasn't won a non conference game since Week 1, 2012.
MORRILTON (3) at Pottsville: Pottsville turned the ball over four times but beat Gravette by 26 points last week. Apache running back Josh Dugger ran eight times for 127 yards a week ago. Morrilton QB Jalen Wright ran nine times for 103 yards in last week's 21-point loss at Russellville.
GREENBRIER (7) at Heber Springs: Heber Springs forced five turnovers and didn't commit any in last week's 13-point win over rival Clinton. Heber Springs junior Edgar Torres forced a fumble, intercepted a pass and both of his touches on offense resulted in first downs. Greenbrier converted six two-point attempts against Beebe.
Harrison at SILOAM SPRINGS (2): Harrison senior QB Brock Humphrey passed for 436 yards and seven TDs in last week's 40-point win over Mountain Home. Siloam Springs trailed Class 7A Rogers 21-14 at halftime last week, but gave up more than 500 yards rushing and lost by 14 points.
WHITE HALL (7) at LR Christian: White Hall beat LR Christian by three points last season and LR Christian led 7-6 in 2012 when the game was ruled a no contest because of lightening. LR Christian QB Brooks Boshears passed for 302 yards in last week's 10-point loss at Class 4A Fountain Lake.
FARMINGTON (7) at Huntsville: Huntsville hasn't beaten Farmington since 2003. Farmington recovered a late fumble to preserve its seven-point win at Prairie Grove a week ago, while Huntsville
CLARKSVILLE (1) at Ozark: These former conference foes split the past six meetings, with Clarksville winning 20-12 a year ago. Ozark trailed rival Booneville 7-3 at halftime last week before losing by 24 points, while Clarksville lost its debut under first-year coach Eli Cranor by 28 points to Class 3A Lamar.
Vilonia at HARDING ACADEMY (2): Harding Academy tries to avoid its first 0-2 start in more than 40 years. The Wildcats trailed Gosnell by five points in the third quarter last week before losing 40-15. Vilonia trailed Sylvan Hills 20-18 at halftime last week, but the Eagles were scoreless in the second half (41-18 loss).
