HOOTENS.COM GAME OF THE WEEK
No. 2 Camden Fairview at No. 9 White Hall
The winner takes early control of the 5A South. Camden Fairview manhandles its opponents, winning by an average of 40 points per game this fall. The starters haven't played in the second half since beating Class 6A El Dorado 49-21 in Week 1. Cardinal offensive linemen Dillan Bever (6-3, 290), Octavian Torrence (6-0, 320), Justin Brown (5-10, 275) and Austin Weld (6-0, 250) dominate defenses. "They drive you backwards," White Hall coach Mike Vaughn said. "They are huge and athletic." Camden Fairview junior quarterback Matthew Ollison has completed 34 of 43 passes (79.1 percent) for 610 yards and seven touchdowns this fall. Like their counterparts on offense, Camden Fairview's defensive front stifles opponents. Senior tackle McKinze James (6-3, 250) has made 30 tackles this fall, while junior Jordan Elliot (6-2, 190) has 27 stops and four sacks and junior Jeremy Moore (6-0, 230) has assisted on 23 tackles and three sacks.
White Hall counters with small but quick linemen. Only one Bulldog weighs more than 250 pounds. White junior running back Irving Tisdale ran for 204 yards against Sheridan in Week 3, but didn't play in last week's 43-point win at Magnolia. Sophomore Kendrick Edgerson ran eight times for 186 yards last week filling in for Tisdale. Senior QB Terrance Warren provides a run/pass threat. "Their skill players are as good as we've seen," Camden Fairview coach Buck James said. White Hall standout sophomore quarterback Kirk Baugh (6-1, 190) practiced Monday for the first time since breaking his collarbone in preseason.

WEEK 5 PREDICTIONS (favored team in ALL CAPS followed by point spread)
5A CENTRAL
JACKSONVILLE (28) at LR McClellan: Jacksonville intercepted six passes in last week's 35-0 win over West Helena and has forced 10 turnovers this fall. Red Devil senior Kevin Richardson caught two TD passes, ran for a TD and returned an interception for a score last week. Little Rock McClellan averages less than a TD per week.
LR CHRISTIAN (21) at North Pulaski: Little Rock Christian intercepted four passes in last week's 28-0 win over Sylvan Hills. North Pulaski fumbled eight times, losing six of them, in last week's 56-point loss to top-ranked Pulaski Academy.
MILLS (2) at Sylvan Hills: These teams have split the past four meetings since moving into the same league in 2008. Mills scored two special teams TDs in last week's 28-point win over Little Rock McClellan, and they've used punt/kick returns to set up three more TDs this year. Sylvan Hills has moved the ball well the past two weeks since inserting sophomore Tra Doss at QB. But the Bears continue struggling with turnovers, committing four against LR Christian a week ago.
PULASKI ACADEMY (35) at West Helena: Sophomore backup QB Will Hefley helped the Bruins roll up 404 yards and 56 points in the first half against North Pulaski last week. Bruin senior L.J. Wallace leads the state with 45 catches for 674 yards and eight TDs.
5A EAST
BATESVILLE (24) at Paragould: Batesville hasn't lost to Paragould since 1994 (when the school was known as Ridgecrest). Senior Wesley Rudd caught a TD pass and returned an interception 45 yards for a TD in last week's 38-12 win over Nettleton. Paragould sophomore Dylan Hoggard ran for 138 yards and four TDs in last week's 28-21 win at Beebe, Paragould's first road conference win in 102 weeks (won at Nettleton Week 6, 2010).
Beebe at FORREST CITY (7): Forrest City's five-point win last week at Greene County Tech broke a seven-game conference losing streak. Mustang junior QB Ethan Adams threw three TD passes a week ago. Winless Beebe averages seven points a game.
Blytheville at NETTLETON (1): Blytheville has beaten Nettleton five straight seasons. Nettleton senior Lance Walker ran for two TDs in last week's 26-point loss at Batesville. Blytheville hasn't scored since beating Class 3A Osceola 36-24 in Week 1.
Greene County Tech at WYNNE (17): Greene County Tech usually plays tough against Wynne, beating the Yellowjackets by eight points in 2009 and losing by 11 and seven points the past two seasons. Wynne hasn't allowed a point the past three weeks.
5A SOUTH
CAMDEN FAIRVIEW (10) at White Hall: Hootens.com Class 5A Game of the Week.
De Queen at WATSON CHAPEL (30): This is the first meeting between these teams. Watson Chapel has won consecutive road games at Nashville and Hot Springs. Watson Chapel's Devonte Battles ran for four TDs and backup QB SanAntonio Cole completed five of 10 passes for 198 yards in last week's 18-point win at Hot Springs.
Hot Springs at HOPE (2): The winner takes a step toward the playoffs. These teams have combined for 17 wins (including four this fall) since 2009. Hot Springs trailed Watson Chapel 21-6 at halftime last week before losing by 18 points.
Magnolia at HS LAKESIDE (11): Magnolia hasn't won a game this year, but the Panthers have beaten Hot Springs Lakeside six out of the past eight seasons. Magnolia has been outscored 170-53 this year. HS Lakeside has surrendered 99 points the past two weeks at Malvern and Camden Fairview.
5A WEST
Clarksville at HUNTSVILLE (1): Clarksville has won five straight in the series since Huntsville's 22-21 decision in 2004. Huntsville trailed Greenbrier 41-6 at halftime last week. Clarksville's D'Aundra Cain ran for 108 yards in last week's 28-point loss against Alma.
GREENBRIER (21) at Harrison: Harrison dominated the series until recently. Greenbrier has won the past two meetings by a combined 77-14. Harrison jumped on Vilonia last week, but the Goblins unravelled (six sacks and two interceptions returned for TDs) when QB Dalton Lovell left with an ankle injury. Greenbrier senior QB Seth Peters completed 18 of 25 passes for 255 yards and three TDs in the first half of last week's 48-12 win over Huntsville.
Morrilton at ALMA (3): The winner takes control of the 5A West. Morrilton senior Jamar Criswell has rushed for 322 yards the past two weeks, while QB Tony Hawkins has generated more than 400 total yards and six TDs in that span. Morrilton created six turnovers in last week's 38-point win over Shiloh Christian. Alma senior QB Gage Jensen has thrown five TD passes the past two weeks.
