Class 7A No. 5 West Memphis at No. 4 Jonesboro
Jonesboro defeated perennial East power West Memphis 28-22 a year ago, scoring 10 points in the final three minutes of regulation to force overtime. Junior quarterback D.J. Anderson ran 9 yards for the game-winning score. The Hurricane have averaged 24 points per game over the past three years in this series (they scored a total of 21 points from 2004-08).
West Memphis has won seven of its past eight games since losing to Jonesboro. The Blue Devils enter league play after beating Ashdown, Blytheville and Pulaski Academy by an average of 15 points. Junior fullback/linebacker Jarvis Cooper ran for two scores and recorded eight tackles for loss, five sacks and a safety in last week's 30-21 win over Pulaski Academy.

CONWAY (4) at Russellville: Conway has beaten the Cyclones by an average of 28 points over the past two years. Russellville gave up 10 points in the final five minutes during last week's 17-14 loss to Alma. Senior QB Mitch Mullen completed 11 of 19 passes for 175 yards and a TD.
FS Northside at GREENWOOD (30): Northside has lost to Pine Bluff, Heritage and Rogers by an average of 26 points. Greenwood beat Shiloh Christian 51-21 last week for its 27th straight victory. The Bulldogs led 37-0 after the first quarter.
LR Parkview at FS SOUTHSIDE (20): Parkview senior QB/DB Caelon Harden intercepted a pass near the goal line as time expired in last week's 34-31 win over Mountain Home. Southside has lost to Heritage and Har-Ber by a total of four points. The Rebels beat El Dorado 38-21 two weeks ago.
LR CATHOLIC (26) at LR Hall: Both teams looking for their first win. Catholic has lost to LR Central, Cabot and Bryant by total of 36 points. Hall has lost to Sheridan and Mills by a combined 40-6.
7A/6A EAST
WEST MEMPHIS (9) at Jonesboro: See Hootens.com Game of the Week.
Mountain Home at MARION (12): Both teams coming off losses last week. Marion has won four straight in this series by an average of 20 points. Mountain Home last beat Marion 25-18 in 2007.
LR CENTRAL (1) at Searcy: Central lost to El Dorado 21-0 last week. Searcy has lost two straight games by a combined seven points.
7A/6A SOUTH
Benton vs. BRYANT (14): Bryant wins its seventh straight Salt Bowl. Benton leads the overall series 24-14-1. Bryant has beaten the Panthers by an average of 22 points over the past six years.
EL DORADO (36) at LR Fair: El Dorado senior RB Marque Burris ran 16 times for 129 yards and two TDs in last week's 21-0 win over LR Central. Fair loses its 19th in a row.
LAKE HAMILTON (28) at Sheridan: Lake Hamilton senior QB Clay Jessie completed 13 of 22 passes for 227 yards and three TDs in last week's 31-16 win over Marion. Sheridan averages 18 points per game.
PINE BLUFF (13) at Texarkana: Pine Bluff rebounds after being stymied by North Little Rock last week. Texarkana kicked a 28-yard field goal with 15 seconds left in a 17-14 win over Liberty Eylau, Texas, after driving 77 yards in the final two minutes.
7A/6A WEST
HERITAGE (9) at Siloam Springs: Heritage has beaten FS Southside, FS Northside and Harrison by an average of 12 points. Siloam Springs senior QB Austin Van Poucke completed 18 of 27 passes for 339 yards and two TDs and ran for two scores in last week's 35-14 win over Gravette.
