OXFORD — Ole Miss edged Arkansas 41–35 Saturday night in a shootout that saw both offenses pile up yards and points. Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss led the Rebels with 353 passing yards, a touchdown through the air, and two short rushing scores. Running back Kewan Lacy powered in an early 2-yard touchdown, while wideout Harrison Wallace III caught six passes for 92 yards and a score. Kicker Lucas Carneiro provided the margin with two field goals, including a clutch 23-yarder late in the fourth.

Arkansas countered with a balanced attack behind quarterback Taylen Green, who threw for 302 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 115 yards and another score. Running back Mike Washington Jr. broke loose for a 47-yard touchdown run in the second quarter and added a 3-yard score late in the fourth. Defenses struggled to contain the explosive plays, but linebacker Suntarine Perkins of Ole Miss and Stephen Dix Jr.of Arkansas each tallied nine tackles, keeping their units afloat in critical moments. The teams combined for zero turnovers, trading blows until the final whistle.
